    Re: Does higher magnification = less quality sight pic Sounds silly but were the lenses clean? It can be hard to see unless in the right angle of light and, bodgy cleaning agents leave a film/ reside on glass.. especially if they are an el-cheapo impure ethanol/ methanol mix

    Re: My 50's muzzle flash at night If you ever have an SLR camera handy - and a tripod - put focus the camera on the rifle, set the camera to manual, f/16 and and 13" seconds shutter speed and you'll have an even better cracker shot of that flame!

    Re: Hope this works Cheers I almost wrote that in the description - couldn't agree more - schoolboy error getting high Ultralite rings.. I got them almost 50% off and before I got the rifle or the scope. Does the job, though. Might have to do a trade at some point.

    Attached is my recent purchase - my very first rifle at 25 yrs old: Remington 700 XCR Compact Tactical .308 with a Nightforce 5.5-22x56mm NXS NPR1 with the hi speed adjustment turrets and zero stop. ..i love my new gun ..those rounds are just federal tactical 130gr ammo.. just used them...
