    Help/advice with a KAC URXIII rail and removal.

    Change the gas tube when you rebarrel. Really they have about the same expected life unless you prefer steel shells for their quality.

    KAC sr-25 ER / ECR barrel.

    See and I thought the ECR and ER barrels where the same, with the exception of the flash suppressor on the ECR vs target crown on the ER. I am confident that the 16" versions all have lined barrels as these rifles are combat carbines. The precison versions I cant' find much info on. KAC's site...

    Ok, can someone help me out? Are the SR-25 rifles a chrome lined barrel or stainless. I believe they are lined but I cannot specifically find this anywhere and just want to confirm. If so, any special care cleaning for a lined barrel over a stainless? Thanks! I appreciate the wealth...

    Suppressors Setting up AR15 for a suppressor?

    You are set. Just make sure you know where your POI is with/without the can. It will change. Mine is U 3" R 3" with the can on when zeroed at 100.

    Where are all the 18-24" 308 DPMS?

    I ordered my lr308 through dpms with an a3 upper. Made a big difference matching a scope, forearm and such up. Basically ended up with a 24" sass. Buy a sass. You will get the same performance (sub 1 MOA) and it has the goodies you will add anyways.

    DPMS get a lot of bad PR, but they are actually good rifles. Yes, there are better but for the money, they actually shoot as good or better than most shooters. Really, you can't go wrong with any of your options. Just comes down to how much cash you have left for goodies and ammo on your budget.

    Hunting comps?

    Just make sure to make it one shot to limit the hearing exposure. In all reality, switch to a flash hider from a break for hunting. Check your zero when you do this but this will help alleviate the excessive noise directed at the shooter.

    I agree. I first placed an order with KAC as their website offered black or taupe. After placing the order, they called (which was pretty cool) to let me know that they now only offer this mount in taupe. Canceled the order, back to google.

    Thank you, did they ream you on shipping and CC fees? When I spoke with them the all in price was nearing $400, up slight from the $327 for just the mount. Sounds like I might need to follow up with them. Thanks! BTW, SR-15 looks sweet! I love mine and now in the process of building a SR-25.

    Lwrc repr

    Had a 16" REPR. Would only cycle with the gas setting in adverse and even then was questionable. 1.5moa was the best I could get out of it. Kicked like a mule for a 7.62. I was extremely disappointed for the money. Sold it and pony'd up the difference to get a Sr-25.
