Maggie’s best bull shizzle someone told you and was serious

Local fellow told me his son can shoot 5 shots into a quarter sized group at 100 yards with iron sights on his .45 ACP standing unsupported. Never did come show me when I invited him to the range, which was disappointing because that would've been a sight to see.

Rifle Scopes Bushnell ERS 3.5-21x50 review.

Ahh, see I was wondering if I had made a fool of myself by posting an incorrect correction but I felt so sure of myself. My apologies and good thing you know better than to listen to some knucklehead on the internet.

Rifle Scopes Bushnell ERS 3.5-21x50 review.

He's got badger mediums, however I hope you know that the 30mm and 34mm are not the height of the scope, but rather the diameter of the rings. For the ERS you have to have 34 mm. The low/medium/high/x-high are the height and the mm is the diameter. Edit: You want something between .9 and 1...

    SW AMMO UPDATE THREAD

Thanks for the advice lash, and thanks for the info Desert. I wonder how quickly they'd turn around my brass if I sent it in since brass seems to be the main component their having trouble getting in stock, anyone know the answer to that one?

That is fortunate indeed, Desert. What was it that you ordered? I'm mainly wondering if they got their headstamped brass in yet, but if you meant literally a week after 4/19 then never mind.

Rifle Scopes Bushnell 3-12X44 vs SS 3-15X42 vs Vortex PST 4-16X50?

For 1500 you could get a Bushnell Elite tactical G2DMR and some nice rings if you find one at a good price. I'd go with that if I were you. However I do really like my PST, if you're wanting to get something less expensive.

    SW AMMO UPDATE THREAD

Just got back from a range day shooting the 175SMK group buy from November at 100 yards. The <.3inch group I shot reminded me why this is worth the wait. Thank you Tornado for the info.

    MJ Steel

Re: MJ Steel Price was low, I thought I had been recommended to them but I can't remember who did the recommending because it was at least a month ago so I was hoping someone here might be able to add confidence. It doesn't have to be them. Also my uncle wanted 3/4 steel which I can't seem to...

    168gr Matchking problem?????

Re: 168gr Matchking problem????? Informative video up there by John at 8541, ignorant question for you: You said you did qualifications with 168gr which I don't doubt to be true; I had it in my head that the military used 175 in their .308 rounds. My question is am I just totally off base or...

    remington 700 or savage10

Re: remington 700 or savage10 My suggestion is to go look at either of them and just pick whichever feels better to you. Neither gun is going to make you a good shooter if you're not, and either gun is going to shoot beyond your abilities if you're asking this question. Basically it's a moot...

    rem 700 sps accuracy

Re: rem 700 sps accuracy Depends on the distance, 2.5 inches is phenomenal at anything over 400 yards, but at 100 yards it should be performing much better than that. How far away is your target? Not loading from the magazine? Is the bolt sliding right over the rounds?

    308 vs 7.62 FGMM

Re: 308 vs 7.62 FGMM I was afraid that would be unintelligible, my apologies. Let me try again: Got 7.62 175gr FGMM Wanted 308 175gr FGMM Any reason I should give a shit I got 7.62?

    308 vs 7.62 FGMM

Bought some ammo the other day for my bolt rifle and after reading on here that 175gr was the way to go for .308 I decided I'd buy some to test it myself. Well the only 175s in FGMM was in 7.62x51mm so I figured it would be more or less the same. Only difference I can see is that the ammo looks...
