    Gunsmithing removed AK underfolder stock, need help!!

    Re: removed AK underfolder stock, need help!! I have asked a metallurgist and he said that I can tig weld the steel pieces I have made for that purpose.. The holes are in the rear most part of the receiver and it will not harm the receiver or damage any heat treat..I can finish off the pieces...

    I removed the wire underfolder on my Wifes ak and put on some tapco furniture There are now two large round holes in the rear sides of the receiver.. I am kinda stumped on what to do to cover these holes and make it look reasonably normal.. Any ideas?? thanks mtnsmth.............

    Re: I @$#*&ed UP! If you can get a good grasp of the cocking piece pull it back and your bolt handle should come right up.. Then take your bolt apart and check and see if the bolt was damaged in any way, act accordingly... mtnsmith
