    Re: I need a new scope.... I would look at the Millett line. They are pretty cheap and i've had one on my .300 Howa. Holds a zero great and its really one of the better i've used for under $1000. Mine is a 4-16x50 LRT. I almost like it better than my Leupold Mk 4

    Re: Howa 1500 upgrades I have the 1500 in .300 win mag, i went to Manners Composite Stocks, it was a great custom fit, their lead times are pretty bad though. i also did a drop in timney trigger, love it! hope this helps you out!!

    Re: Scope Suggestions anyone have thoughts against the Millet Tactical 4.5-16x50mm 30mm tube illuminated mil-dot. i only paid around 350 for it and it has not let me down yet. the lack of FOV at 14-16 power are less than desired, but all in all, for the money i am very pleased.
