    Bottom metal for a savage action?

    Gunsmithing Inlet a McMillan stock to fit a badger action

    I have a McMillan A5 and was wondering if it would be possible to inlet it for a Badger long action? It is inletted for a Stiller Tac 300 action/Rem L/A, I imagine that the inletting would be along the same lines as to what you do to an AICS but I am not gunsmith.

    I have a rem 700 (6.5 x 47) that, i think, the "timing is off." Please correct me if the following problem is not that, and, if it is...how to fix it.     Gunsmithing 1.450" Action in AICS?

    Was thinking about building a 338 Lapua in AICS using a Lawton 8500 action. Problem is, the diameter of the action is larger than Remington and I'm not sure it would work. Anyone done this before? Other acceptable actions for 338 Lapua that will fit an AICS?
