I had a discussion with a libertarian last night who "will not vote for Trump" WHAT????????????????? There is a clear choice this election. TRY to at least maintain what's left of The Republic or just wholesale give into marxist ideals. At no time in our history has the choice been more clear. Not even when Reagan beat Carter - and that was pretty damned obvious then too - but Carter wasn't trying to stack the court, bring 2 more states into the fold, and didn't himself (though Ted did) try to overthrow Reagan.
Anybody not voting Trump because "he's mean and not very nice" simply doesn't understand...most LEADERS are not nice and yes can come across as mean. WTF do they think George S. Patton was - nice? Hell no he wasn't nice. Neither were most of the generals and admirals on either side. Leadership at that level requires a LOT of hard choices to be made and being "nice" cannot and should not get in the way of some of those choices - being moral and ethical on the other hand most certainly does. Trump may be a hell of a "nice guy" if you actually befriended him. Who knows? For me, it doesn't matter to me if he'd "be my friend" or "hate my guts" that's not why I've interviewed him for this job opening and why I'm selecting him as my choice for CEO of the USA.
