10 Dead in NOLA attack

Hmm...

Louisiana is a heavily armed state...

How many Concealed Firearm Carriers "defaulted to their training" "to protect their family, friends, and loved ones," "by eliminating the threat?"

On the flipside, this also sounds like a failure in our CCW narrative.

NOLA, like all big cities like Austin, have enclaves of socialist yuppies, LGBT freaks, etc who are antigun. Wonder how that district in the city is aligned politically. If it was a leftist enclave, the probability of armed citizens in the area would be near zero. And the driver could have done his research beforehand and stayed away from the wide swaths of other places where he would be shot dead, dragged out of the truck and his bullet riddled carcass posed for photos like a downed hog. When that other ISIS fuck shot up the Pulse Nightclub in Miami, it was another antigun and unarmed enclave in a staunchly conservative state.

What I am saying is no qualified immunity. If a CCW shoots someone and the police hold his weapon until he is cleared, the same is and should be done with police officers. The weapon is seized as part of the investigation.

If charges can be presented against a citizen CCW, they should also be presented against a cop. If a cop accidentally shoots an innocent person, he or she should face the heat.

But my other point was, the cops had to do something or this snackbar guy was going to keep shooting until someone, anyone, put a round or two in him to stop him.

So, it is a calculated risk. And we don't know yet if some of the people shot were shot by cops. To assume so is to assume facts not yet in evidence, to be prejudicial, and therefore not suitable to judge anything about this.

Though we all will continue to judge.

Confirmed...

Religion of peace is peaceful until it's not.

Just like one generation of being a nanny dog isn't going to deactivate a hundred years of instinct in a pitbull to suddenly attack and kill.

That last soldier that flipped into terrorist mode was the Islamic shrink at Ft. Hood.

Happy new year just turned to shit. Many people and families now in a bad place. All real Americans share your grief. My most meaningful condolences to those suffering Americans and they are all in my prayers tonight.

That said, retribution, if needed will come swiftly. Do not doubt that for a second although not something as mostly peaceful people look for.

We are all grieving for the victims and families. This is just one really, really bad day for us.

That all said , poke the bear and wake up the sleeping giant? Really? If it is indeed a conspiracy, rest assured that steel will rain on the perpetrators and it wont be a single day, that will last for months. If so, this was a major losing move for these fucking bastard(s).

It's kind of interesting all the videos showing the shooting part are taken down rather quickly.
It’s always interesting that despite the number of surveillance cameras and ass-hats wanting to make it big on social media with that latest 10 second viral clip, we are always stuck with 2 or 3 clips from shitty angles and with lenses that date back to the 60s

I am an idiot, I will just get that out of the way and you can save your breath on that. So, on the chance that police might have accidentally shot bystanders while shooting at the suspect who was currently shooting at them and others, the police should not shoot back?

I know you did not specifically say that. But that is where you went with my statement. Yes, it is possible and a forensic investigation while take a while, for sure.

So, since you have already surmised or at least posited the theory that some of the people shot may have been collateral damage or caught in friendly cross-fire, how many more people would have died if the suspect kept on firing?

What was your preferred method of dealing with an active shooter?

I don't know and that is why I lead off with the statement that I am an idiot.

So, please help clear my ignorance and I can better understand the intention of your reply.
Dear Mr. Idiot,
Thank you for your question. No thats not what I meant or intended to mean. It was absolutely necessary for police to engage and neutralize the shooter. I can't come up with a better way of dealing with an active shooter.

However, in doing so, I'm just wondering if any innocents were hit with friendly fire. I am sure not all police rounds fired hit their intended target and those rounds had to go somewhere.

I hope that helps you understand.

I meeean… if we’re capable of accidentally shooting down our own F18s….

I strongly doubt it will everrrrr be released that bystanders were shot/killed/injured via police engaging the suspect.
this question was brought up in that gay bar mass shooting in orlando some years ago. it was never really addressed or looked into. always wondered about that. not sure but there was,i think, some question about the response and reaction times but not sure.

What type of ED'S found , how were they programmed to go off, and why didn't they go off?

Veeery suspicious that Mr. F150 driver pre - empted these naaarsteee explosives from delivering far more damaging results, isn’t it?

Just the chaos of the situation renders this an absolute possibility. Coupled with the close proximity of these streets and the number of people that were probably around
must agree that bystanders being hit in this situation is almost gotta happen. really can't hang that on the cops. collateral damage would almost be unavoidable with any average or even higher level hand gunner. also, read he may have had full body armor. if so,would need more rounds hitting him to be effective. the 1 pic i saw on here looked like he was hit in head so there is that.

I read that Fox reported this: A Glock handgun and .308 caliber rifle equipped with optics and a sensor were recovered from the crime scene, according to a high-level source familiar who was not authorized to discus details of the investigation publicly.

What would the sensor on the rifle be?

It was in the vehicle ....... right after the FBI took it off the back of the truck and put it there....
edit - As fast as the FBI could declare this a NON-terrorist act, and then had to walk it back due to camera's proving otherwise.......
Makes you wonder if ANOTHER conspiracy theory is about to come true.
Nailed it.

Not surprised. I would be surprised if the country isn't infested with terrorist cells, all interfaced with each other. Thank you Obama, you America, Western Culture, Christian hating motherfucker.
an easy guess. brought in lately by obiden and the deep state dems. purpose is also a no brainer guess. wonder if their AOs were selected by the fbi,cia or doj?

I think the opposite. Collateral damage charged to the criminals for both cops or civilians
