Likely this has been mentioned before but I can’t seem to find much info on it.

I have 1500 112 MB’s and want to try them in a dasher barrel. I have Alpha brass, Varget and cci 450’s.

Anyone trying this combo?

N140 32.5gr
112 MD, sorted by weight
2880fps , ES 9

I’ve shot 4500+ in 6CM and just started shooting them in 6GT with nearly the same stuff as you: Alpha OCD, 450’s, SW Precision Rifle (Varget clone).

They hammer, I’m sure it’ll be the same with a Dasher. They like to jump, I’m .100” off.

I'm at 31.4gr of Varget now, Alpha brass, CCI 450's gets 2880fps. I'm jumping just 0.010" from where my lands originally where. 0.010" up to 0.050" had consistent POI so I went with 0.010" and it's held zero through 1600 or so rounds so far.

Tasty! I have 145 Match Burners in .264 that shoot similarly - although mine need to be sorted for both weight and length for longer range. Enough variability to show vert dispersion beyond say ~500 yds.

I ran these all last year with Alpha brass, 28.4 Varget, CCI 450’s. Velocity was about 2600 which is super slow but it was hammering in the accuracy department and I was at the end of the life on that barrel so I just ran them. With my new barrel I will up the load for more FPS, 2800ish would be nice.
