155 SMK Palmas, and RL 15 loads?

gonna try it... only gonna be home on leave for 2 weeks, anyone already done the basics for me? will be shooting out of a Savage 12fv 26" 1:10 twist factory tube, have Win match brass as a main, but have some federal, LC, and Honady match lying around too... primers will have to be found when I get home.

thanks guys, guess I need to clear up what I meant... ALL I have on hand is RL 15, so it's the default powder, for while I'm home on leave anyway

I use 46.1 with scenars, cci primers, 3k fps

In a 24" factory savage barrel, the best load was 45.0grC of Varget with 155gr SMK Palma. From the memory, that was about .005 jump. Shot 2.5-2.75" groups @ 500yd.

Keep in mind with factory savage barrels you'll start noticing pressure signs early where a true match grade barrel may not.
