edit again: just checked with my friend, its a Harris bipod and it is not a knockoff. Been a long dayI've seems some bad Atlas knockoffs but that's got to be the worst.

T3x action
18" Bartlein rv 11.25t 5r ss in 308w
9lbs on the money without the bipod
Haven't shot it yet, this weekend I will. Got the typical 168 smks loaded up with some varget in petersen srp brass with br4s. Gonna try some 155 scenars, 110vmax and 125 nbt eventually too. Pushed fast of course lol
Would you mind sharing the build specs of your rifle? Thank you.18” 7prc
I'm curious about the weight too, I have kind of a Walmart version of that rifle going together, Tikka with Stockys carbon stock and a 19" featherweight carbon-six barrel in 7 PRC. Bare rifle weight should probably be similar though.Would you mind sharing the build specs of your rifle? Thank you.
You gotta tell us what bullets and speed you are getting. Everyone secretly wants a short magnum like this.

They really do a great job on their stocks. My favorite hunting stocksThe paint looks fantastic on this one
How's do you like the speer tnts? I did an initial load with their 168gr match bullets last weekend. 45gr varget, cci br4 in Peterson srp brass 2.8 coal got me half inch for 9 and the 10th at .76. Rounds 51 through 60 on this barrel.Nice! I have a 16" 11tw Tikka running 125gr Speer TNTs at 3075fps.
What's the specs on this build?Zero confirmation before this weekends opener. First shot cold bore, looks good to me.
I'm amazed at how well they group. 50gr of 8208 XBR in Peterson SRP w/ CCI450s. Varget was considerably slower for me.How's do you like the speer tnts? I was quite impressed so loaded another 50 at that spec to test this weekend.
Also going to test repeatability with the 223 barrel and find scope offsets and test rtz from caliber switches.
sounds/reads like a subjective opinion to me. i have heard good things about both, so i'm sure either would be a fine choice.Because this is the Hide and objectivity is rare it seems.

Trying to decide what barrel length to go with….
Shoot, full build details if you dont mind.
That Pro hunter stock (I think thats what it is) looks darn slick.
I run an EH1 currently and may look at either a stock like yours or Mesa Altitude for the next one.
Can ya post a link to the thread talking about this?@powdahound76 I have 3 Mesas, and a pro hunter. I like the forend and the buttstock on the pro hunter better. Not a fan of the drop ar the recoil pad on the Mesa, it kinda of tends to make the heel drop under recoil unless you have really good solids bag support, something you don't always have in the field, think snow or brush. Rear bag support is always crucial but the higher the butt the better you can drive with your clavicle or shoulder.
There are some guys collaborating on the Rokslide forum with Stockys to produce a very light and effective stock that will have a totally negative comb all the way to the butt, a scalloped forend with a recessed pic rail similar to a pro hunter. Arca attachments will be end user installed. They're calling it the Rokstock. It's releasing in tikka inlet first(they love tikkas over there) then 700 clones soon to follow. It'll be a vertical grip with short trigger reach(something manners also struggles with on some shooters). It'll be a winner. They're thinking it'll be 24-26oz, idk on bedding, it's going to have what could be called a carbon backbone/chassis/action interface that supposedly doesn't need bedded. Time will tell how good it is. It'll be available through unknown munitions I believe.

I just put it together, actually waiting on another PH that doesn’t have the mini chassis. Going to bed and cerakote the suppressor at the same time. Please share your load data for this.

How do you like the suppressor?
18” 7 prc is getting 2868 with re26 and 168 BergerYou gotta tell us what bullets and speed you are getting. Everyone secretly wants a short magnum like this.
Thanks for the follow up. This may be the only cartridge I have really wanted but didn't need. But I will still build one.18” 7 prc is getting 2868 with re26 and 168 Berger
22” 7 prc is getting 2941 with re 26 and 175 Berger.
Both are new with only about 15 rounds on each of them. So I would think the 18” should easily see the 2950 plus range, and the 22” 3050 plus range.
These velocities with rl26, those close to pressure? Or just where accuracy is? My buddy is running a 24" Tikka 7prc with adg brass and N565, running 180hyb around 2930. Shows flat primers and shadow ejector marks but zero bolt lift or extraction issues.18” 7 prc is getting 2868 with re26 and 168 Berger

What length did you chop it to?View attachment 8265896
Just finished chopping this one to see if I’m OK moving forward with a hunting rifle this short. Want to swap the 5-25 for a 3-15 or a NXS 2.5-10 and a thinner contour barrel if I like it. Even with the barrel, scope (2.5lbs), and rings it’s 10lbs 10oz.
Lone Peak Fuzion SA in 6.5 creedmoor. Will shoot this and get a 7mm of some type (debating SAUM vs Sherman Short) should I enjoy the shorty. Not sure why I wouldn’t, it’s fantastic when folded.
I think it came out to 18.5”. In California so no supresor option. Started as a 26” and the cut piece weighs 1lb 1oz. Balance is off, but for now it’s an experiment. What length did you chop it to?
Looks good, hate to hear you can’t have a suppressor. I have two and have my eye on a few/couple more as we speakI think it came out to 18.5”. In California so no supresor option. Started as a 26” and the cut piece weighs 1lb 1oz. Balance is off, but for now it’s an experiment.
Nice looking rigs. I was thinking of a 7 PRC build as well. Probably a 20" barrel. I have an 18" 6.5 PRC that I really like.18” 7 prc is getting 2868 with re26 and 168 Berger

I have an 18" 6.5 PRC, currently trying the 140 Elite Hunter. What kinda speeds are guys getting out of 18" 6.5 PRCs with a 140 class bullet? Love my 18" 6.5 Creed and have a few lopads that get me 2650 with 140 ELDMs (42.5 N160 or 42.0 H4350) but also have a magnum bolt and am kinda curious how much more speed I could get out of the same length PRC.
