I
I whole heartily agree with the statement. And I do plan on this once I get my 155's. I am just asking those that have the experience ya know. So in other words, your comment is of no help to me but thanks for taking the time to post.
Nor was it intended to. Anyone else responding is just going to be guessing (which is what you specifically didnt want, lol) as to whether their “real world” experiences, including mine, are going to be helpful/relevant for you as you:
1) Have not defined what success means for you so no one knows what the hell you’re looking to “gain” (maybe things like “flatter trajectory, less wind drift, less recoil, cost savings, more kinetic energy vs your existing ammunition) and /or why (are you assuming we can read your mind?)
2) Dont seem to realize every rifle is different, you wont know if its worth the switch until you actually do the work and see for yourself
3) Come off like a lazy, entirled prick who wants all the answers without putting any time or effort on his own; I’m specifically referring to your second to last sentence in post #1
4) Not defined what “real world experience” others should have before replying (maybe you’re just referring to “plinking” as you call it or maybe duty use, competition etc)? Who knows…you dont say
If the purpose is just mindless “plinking” find 147-149 or 150 fmj bt bullets as they are cheap and save your good 155s for when you do more serious training and/or enter comps assuming that’s within the scope of how you use that rifle.
