The answer to this i seekIf the action is the same - can we just take the .223 bolt and stick it in the AT?
Sounded like it on the live stream, it's just a plain AT in a new chassis
They will be doing that...eventually.I hope they release it as a standard r700 short action footprint. That would be way awesome
I dont think they meant that thai is replacing those, although that's what it sounded like they said.Yep. Thats what it sounded like they said it's replacing the AT and AX308.
Sell a couple boxes of 300 PRC ammo and you will have enough to buy the rifleI gotta dump a few things onto the market and it may just happen.

Yes and the AX. Just call Greg at Bugholes and get the 223 conversion now..If the action is the same - can we just take the .223 bolt and stick it in the AT?
.....Livestreams are typically recorded.
This. Glad I didn't grab one of the new AXSR AICS chassis. I'll wait for the AT-X Chassis.I hope they release it as a standard r700 short action footprint. That would be way awesome
Duh what was I thinking.......I even missed the beginning of the livestream and went back to rewatch it.....my bad.....Livestreams are typically recorded.

This will just be in addition to the AT and AX.
I mean that's what he said at the 8:30 mark.Having now watched to the YouTube video, my take was that the AT-X was replacing both the AT and AX in short action.
I am rocking one of these from Gilbert and it is awesome!7 SAUM.
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY
Aren’t you glad you don’t have to wait another 16mthsI am rocking one of these from Gilbert and it is awesome!
I think they are engraved and only for AI team guys.are those AI stickers on the side of the bell exclusive, or can we get them too?
hahaha Yeah inquiring minds want some of that unobtaniumare those AI stickers on the side of the bell exclusive, or can we get them too?
Besides Nightforce, you forgot that AI engraves Simmons Whitetail Classics.I think they are engraved and only for AI team guys.
Plus they only work on Nightforce, not your Tangent Theta
I mean that's what he said at the 8:30 mark.
"This rifle is going to replace both the AX short action and the AT short action, uh, in 2021."
I thought it was interesting that they designed it to be a "debond, drop-in, and torque down" option for current AT and AXSA owners.
Ditto.Am I one of the few who really likes the AT as-is? I see where they are taking the new design, and it’s fantastic, but not something I’m interested in.
Glad I picked up an AT last year from MHSA!
From the podcast: AT LE is not going anywhere. LE models are on long-availabilty for institutional (LE) customers. AI and Frank just talked about it in the audio near the end. For consumer grade customers, now AT-X is the $5K base platform and you can throw another $1-2k in accessories at it if you want a gucci $7k rifle. You would do that with NV bridges, handguards, rails, top-rails, weight systems, and ASR back end etc. Will there be an LE model since the AT-LE is presumably going away?
Did we ever get a price of the chassis only?
Yes we did. Previous page.
300ish on the folder. Less than 2k on the chassis
