2021 Accuracy International Virtual SHOT Show coming soon!

1.250 straight.

That's the beauty about keyslot. Its flush on the inside. But with this profile. I doubt you'll need weights.

As far as internal weights, Idk. Haven't see pics of them installed, on the inside.

LOL that's true. Forgot about that... yeh 1.25" you're not going to need weights, you'll probably event want to throw a weight on the back...

Looking forward to what the other colors look like. Has there been any word on how crazy expensive the accessories are going to be?

Maybe i missed it somewhere but i take it these will be small firing pin's?

I noticed on one of the videos that Frank was shooting a 6.5 PRC in the new setup so there's obviously already a mag bolt face, very good news. But what I noticed was the total lack of recoil. I wonder if this was a product of having the 338 can on or the new magical chassis setup.

Depends on weight of that set up. The PRC doesn't kick too much. Well, mine is a heavy b*. It's pretty hilarious.

300wsm on my AX doesn’t kick much at all. The 6.5prc is even less.

now the 223...that’s just damn fun to shoot 😉

Didnt laplace transforms make doing time domain to frequency domain transformations easier though? It ain't no fourier though.

In other news, when will we get these magnum bolts? The prospect of a 6.5 PRC AT really gets my excited.

This is getting beat to death, contact @trophyhunter for a magnum bolt, they did a 7 SAUM for me and it is fantastic!

What a tease. Come out with a few bad ass videos and a couple pictures of one in RED and then NOTHING! Come on, dont they know how impatient we are for new toys? We cant even drool over the colors. I think their just messing with us and its all leading up to a bad April fools joke. But seriously if anyone has more info or pictures would love to read more about it.

Haven't been able to view the whole recording yet...will the new AT-X be shipping with a low 20MOA action rail?

I've got a spare Spuhr 4002 1.5" mount, hoping it will work like it did on my old AX308.

Or should I sell it and go shorter....like a 4006, I'll be using a 56mm objective ATACR.

I can’t recall it specifically addressed in any of the interviews/videos......I assume the NV bridge height with an AI pic rail section attached will align level and parallel with the action rail.....but is that with the high or low action rail?

@seansmd @M4guru Sorta. You can still use an RRS dovetail clamp underneath. But I feel it works better than a plate as it doesn't raise the rifle any higher, but still low enough to make contact with the bag. Using it as a stack, can easily grab onto it with your support hand to stabilize it.
Without the weights, the rifle weighs 21-22lbs. Each weight weighs .5lbs. It's wild how much a difference it makes to add the weights to get a wider footprint, in stabilizing it.
I've played with multiple plates from gray ops or area419, they don't come close in my eyes.

@Whiskey 2-1 Yes, they're going to make low and high rails.

Holy crap, 21lbs without weights? What exactly are you running? 26" straight taper?

Nah. I think it’s 27”. Some random measurements on the diameter. But it’s not a 1.25 straight. I had to shave it down some so it wouldn’t make contact with the top bridge.

My body naturally produces a can of man, so that helps with carrying/ moving around heavier rifles.
