You'd lose that bet friend, here.....only fat, bone, sinew, and hides go in the bait pile, and that's not technically wasting anything to a sheep/cattle farmer who kills coyotes out of pure spite and vengeful hatred.
50 pounds of just scraped bone trimmin' scrap turned into breakfast sausage, damn good breakfast sausage, Legg's Old Plantation style.
Sorry, don't have any pics of the canned goods, but we can a lot of venison too.....
Never even seen 50 wild pigs, let alone kill 50 of 'em, but I have killed exactly one hog, and he sure as hell didn't lay around to rot....went too far and paid too much to get him, not to enjoy every damn scrap.
Neither did my kid's......
And turkeys can be easily and cleanly killed with a rifle, here's two from a very good Spring.
Be careful where you sling that "hypocrite" word around........
Some folks got ethics, and some folks got morals. An ethical man knows it's wrong to cheat on his wife, a moral man would never do it. The dude made a great shot on that turkey, no doubtin' that at all, but it was a wasted turkey....plain and simple it's quite a few's opinion. Pick your poison, ethics or morals. Anyone who knows how a turkey is put together easily knows what that kind of damage leaves one to "eat". The effort woulda been far better reserved for such scurge as groundhogs and coyotes, considering what the former does to farm fields and the latter does to livestock. Getting their center mass blown to hell and left to lay is far too good for the likes of them dirty bastards.
Just figured I'd defend my take on things, now back to the regularly scheduled program............
