25x47 Lapua load data

Shot to 1000 today and gained a little more speed. Some where between .335 and .35 G7 is matching on the 134 ELDM at 2700 fps, gonna confirm tomorrow. Still havent measured the jump but im seating right at 2.8'' COAL with a .135 freebore. After this match ill probably play with some varget and see if i can boost the speed a little, H4350 seems a little slow in this barrel.

Upped the axial form factor on 4dof to get to match. Think that came out to .9

I didn’t write anything down, but N150 &135’s pressured out somewhere around 2840fps in 2 different barrels, SDs >10. Haven’t revisited.

N140 & Varget both work much better

I just got my 25x barrel from Stuteville. Love it, such soft recoil and just overall nice to shoot. I'm using H4350 at the moment.

38.4 GR - 2700 FPS, 50 rounds down the pipe, I imagine this will speed up. I want to be around the 2750 range.
At the moment im at .015 jump. I have heard from numerous people that anything from .015 - .080 works flawless. However i began at .015 and its great. I thought the first group was a fluke, but pulled multiple more single hole groups after.

I've heard varget is also really good, but i use 4350 in a lot of cartridges.

I shoot a bunch of different stuff from 338 lapua on down, but it does feel much more easy to shoot than even a 6.5 creed, i even feel its easier than a 6 creed at 3050 fps. Obviously that 105 bullet is 30 grains lighter on the 6 creed, but something with pushing it 300fps more makes the recoil so much different. I don't know, or claim to understand how that stuff effects recoil, but it must to an extent.

I also find the recoil to be extremely smooth and soft shooting. Almost strange how the recoil impulse is. I also shoot 20’s, 22’s, 6br, bra, creed, 25 creed, 260, 6.5, 7’s and 30’s. I was anticipating it to feel more like the 25 creed/6.5 creed but it’s much nicer

I agree, I don't feel much difference VS my 6gt with 115s mid 2800s. If you start stepping on the 25x47 it can get punchy. I've tested mine up near 2900. It's not soft anymore. I'm running 135s at 2750. It's the same wind holds as my 6gt, and my 65cm with 153s at 2650. All the same mousetrap pretty much. 153s rock a plate now!

Everything is suppressed! I don't shoot brakes anymore. If I was trying for every last point in prs, trying to gain every edge possible, I'd run a Chad, but I like my hearing and not getting headaches and brain fog last 3-4, stages on a day. Now that cans are getting quick approvals, our regional league has got to be near 60-70% running cans, it so nice.

Oh i definitely agree at some point pressures and impulse is going change and that goes out the window but I ran mine from 2650-2920fps and it was much much softer/smoother then my 25 creed at 2880. I’m running closer too 2780-2820 as that’s where it’s shooting and at that speed it’s barely more then my bra

I bit hard on the 25x47, 3 barrels and 1k pieces of brass. Once everything is fireformed, I'm going to run it a bit faster. The br variants do have a lil more instant pop but no push, and the X47 is just a lil slow push. I have br and bra, I can't say that I feel they're the same ime, but sight picture and seeing data down field is very similar.

For sure! 25x47 is def a different feel, my 25cm is 135s at 2860, 3gr powder and 100fps different, and it's a completely different animal.
