3-18 Scope

Take a look at the Burris XTRIIIi 3.3-18x50. Knobs aren't overly large. Can be had for well under your price limit through Liberty Optics. Put it in the cart for the price.

Steiner’s T6Xi 3-18 are pretty low and appear slightly lower than my Burris XTR3i 3-18.

I have a Burris xtr 2 4-20. I have considered upgrading to the gen 3. The glass is so good on my gen 2 I'd have to hang on to it and then what is the point of upgrading?
I suppose I got a one of a kind. I've read all the hate on the xtr 2 glass but I have to say, mine is exceptional.
I will say that when I got it and first looked through it that I thought the glass sucked. Then I realized that it had been shipped to me with the elevation knob maxed completely out. Once I dialed it up a bit the glass cleared up substantially.
I wonder if all the xtr 2 were shipped out like that and all the "arm chair snipers" simply unboxed it, looked through it, and then complained online about the glass

I had an XTR2 4-20 that I thought had better glass than the beloved LRTS. The XTR3 I had at the same time was defective, so the comparison isn't really valid. My XTR2 was also a later production model, and Burris seemed to make running changes/improvements to the line. I didn't have a home for the scope and sold it... twas a great, albeit large scope.
