I worked up a hunting load for 30-06 AI in my rebarreled Turkish Mauser and I'm both impressed and a little concerned. Just need to compare notes with anyone with RL-17 experience.

RP Case
Tula LR Magnum Primer
58.1 grain RL-17
Hornady 180 Interbond .308 Moly
2960 FPS...consistently.
I'm not getting case head expansion and the primers aren't doing anything they shouldn't...so should I be concerned that there is a 100 fps bonus?
