Mine is the Sidewinder, it's the best brake I've used. How you guys like your Hellfire on gas gun? I need one for my gas 6.5cm
I have about 500 rounds through it and so far so good w/ the brake. I've removed it twice and cleaned it and both times my zero stayed the same...no POI shift after removal and re-installation. I'd say it's going to hold up great.Nice job. I know the feeling after buttoning it all up. i would love to know how that brake holds up on a gas gun. Please update.
I did as Jon recommends...fire 10-15 rounds then reach up and tighten the collar again. And that's worked great. I admit though, I check that collar every time I set up to shoot but it's been tight.Did it ever come loose on its own?

When I first installed the brake, the universal adapter that screws to the muzzle did come loose on my second or third outing w/ the gun. I applied a very small amount of blue loctite and haven't had an issue since.
Yup...gotta get them outside too.SH all your poor rifle's look sooo sad and depressed having their photo taken on your kitchen tables, living room floors, and back porches.
