.338 Norma Magnum powder and loads

Powder suggestions:
VV N570, would be my first powder to look into for this, N560, N170, N165, Norma MRP and 217 is what Norma used, assume you cant get 217 anymore, Hodgdon Retumbo, H-1000. Alliant RL 25. Ramshot Magnum.

Norma has load data on homepage for MRP, MRP 2, and a few other powders with lighter bullets.

Never used Alliant or Ramshot powders, but the burn rate is fitting, and know some have used Ramshot with success.
As i don't own one, I'm not willing to post second hand load data, but the 338 NM sees some use here, and i know of a few shooters and they swear to N570, it's a bit temp sensitive though so something to keep in mind depending on where you live.

Retumbo seems to work great with the 300 gr. SMK bullet the cartridge was designed around, and is about as temp-stable as you can get.

Well if 570 is hard to come by in the US. And you shoot in the desert with high temperature fluxiation and low humidity, Retumbo will be a more even performer.
The pros of 570 is good load density, and a noteable difference in velocity.
VV lot consistency is excellent though and clen burning.
Being a double base powder it will often increase throat wear slightly though.
Live close to the arctic circle, and out on the coast so the low temperatures and high humidity makes the 500 series ideal here, can normally shoot the same load all year.

Has anyone worked with Norma MRP? I plan on using the 300 berger otm..anyone got any data velocities starting loads??

Custom rifle Deviant magnum action 29" brux...Norma brass fed 215m primer.

Thanks
