I find that interesting, as the (MIC) Military Industrial Complex, is what IKE, Kennedy, An Ronnie Ray-Gun warned us about. The odd thing is many of us talk to folks across all ponds an get first hand info on events that the media seems to leave out, why would that be? I don't think there's going to be any escalation in Syria. Take note of who's put his name in the pres. running in Iran. That is political sabre rattling at its best. Trump' made his point, especially with the navy w.r.t. NK as well. Time to step back and let the 'international' team handle Iran. The sanctions against Iran were working, the economic decline was a direct threat to the Mullahs.

I believe that Trump did the best he could with the Intel and info that he has . This is not Ron Reagan's administration . There are no if very few meat eaters left in the Intel Services . Yale , Harvard and Libtardia have shaped and warped them . He took a reasonable and righteous stand on chemical weapons use . He did not stand there beating his chest daring Assad to bring it . It would seem that military action is a bargaining tool that Trump is willing to use and good for him . One might argue that China took note as to his willingness to use it . I don't see us getting embroiled in the affairs of another failing shithole . Not unlike Reagan I think that he is sending the message that we do not have to set foot into your cesspool . We have big ordinance capable of costing you lots of money and lots of people so pay attention .

I choose neither because I believe the outcome is not limited to only the choices you provide. I expect (and hope) that we will not get into an escalation scenario, and I expect (and hope) that Assad will get the message that further use of WMDs will be more costly than any benefit he may gain from them.

Again, based on the only options you seem to see, you seem to be rooting for failure. I do agree with your first line, however, and actually believe we would be better off leaving Assad in power.

Firstly history, secondly modus operandi, thirdly benefit/cost. It's pretty clear that you won't find 100% reliable information on the web (or on TV) but what you can do is make educated guess based on some common sense, knowledge how people/world functions.

Syria is much like Libya a giant cluster fuck assisted by foreign powers but mostly driven by local stupidity. For me its pretty simple:

-US was caught lying several times in modern (lets forget about "ancient" history) history in order to justify its actions
-Israel has had its fingers in the jam so many times its not even funny anymore
-Moderate ISLAM is a fantasy as only difference is that some are willing and able to execute ISLAM others are not yet willing or able to do so but all are pretty much the same when it comes to their dogmas and their view of others and what should be done to them
-Assad is compared to alternatives on the ground (based on Syrian view - many sources including your own congresswoman) much much lesser evil (aka being evil to headchoppers is a must and virtue not fault)
-Assad with extensive help of both Hezbollah, Iran and Russia i.e. defeated or at least struck major blow to ISIS (i simply do not recognize "moderate rebels" as its on par with unicorns) and has basically regained the initiative
-US and Russia did (at least on operational level) coordinate strikes and informed each other of sorties, targets and basically struck at common enemy with full force
-Assad had absolutely nothing to gain from either mere possession of nerve agent (it would be a disaster to Russias face as it brokered the entire "no chemicals in Syria narrative" and if true would pretty much seal Assads fate as Russia would simply pull out or remove him by force to save face) let alone unleashing heinous attack on some civilians who have absolutely no tactical or strategical value -> nothing to gain but everything to loose

Only ones to have something to gain from it are ISIS sickos as they are trying to prevent US and Russia hitting them in coordinated fashion and have shown numerous times that they have absolutely no regard for decency or human life. Now to go into details how much US or Israel actually support ISIS (in your language "moderate rebels aka unicorns") or is it only suitable for US to show power i do not know i honestly hope this was just a show of force and not actual planned false flag by US.

What i would expect is irrefutable evidence by US intelligence community, you know all those fancy power points, recordings, grizzly details you're know to produce when you want to really prove a point but so far all i see is bullshit thrown around and the irony being that Trump is allowing the same bullshit that was being thrown at him since start of his campaign being thrown by members of his team. Honestly i expected more from him but sadly its obvious he is loosing his battles (Flynn, taxes, repeal of Obamacare etc...) and that hawks from behind the scene are back at power.

So while i understand moments of pride when those tomahawks went flying (though hitting and destroying is another issue which we better not go into :) ) its rather ironic for them to be source of pride as they are harbinger of bad news, not act of power but more act of desperation and defeat. Can Trump win war after loosing initial battles - i hope so, but atm it doesn't look like it. West is completely fucked by its own poison that was used globally and it backfired at home (i simply do not believe in grand conspiracies as that requires some serious intellect, planning and character and i find our dear leaders lacking in all) and now we have a population of pussies in a world where more than half (as growth becomes exponential we are probably way over half) of world population are neither meek nor unused to fight for a living. Combine those two (as in parts of Europe) and instead of cultural enrichment (that was Benny HIll style of a joke - attempt) you get destruction of society. Your preferred solution is bombing bad men who do bad things in their bad countries*** and in the process causing displacement of bad men to pussified west mine is that bad men in bad places should be left to their business and we should do quite a lot on bettering ourselves and start solving our problems and undoing years of pussification through education, entertainment TV and by other sick (you can google Soros and "its" kin) perps.


***This can be also adjusted for specific situation as we must prevent Russias image as a capable country since they are doing to ISIS what we should've done years ago but were unable or unwilling to do as ISIS did come useful when trying to redirect public from domestic issues or when we needed some cheap OIL or push some buttons through proxy.

All links you posted are not the reports I was/am referring to. Your going to have to dig much, much deeper if you want the truth.

I only trust Intel reports when there is more than two-three who can confirm the events/evidence and those two or three are from different agency's or gov's. It's a puzzle all pieces have to fit.

Again with a BS you know nothing about. Yes on paper but also on paper we get 63 million € for shutting down sugar factory, import all sugar and in the process get a fine of of 11 million for failing to blow up storage facilities. Through the process we were supposed to get the money and were left without home produced sugar and self sufficiency. This is just one of many examples how this EU(SSR) works and that things are not as they seem to be. So excuse me if i prefer to set my house in order first and bomb others later as we have much more urgent matters to attend at home with our fifth column and corrupted fuckers that will probably have to be put down since there is no way in hell they will leave peacefully or through democratic process (again Benny Hill attempt of a joke).

Don't know about you but after the return here from scout the place has changed so much I am done with it. I'm tired of all the kid an libtard shit myself. It's time to move to another site altogether. About 6-8 months before the move to scout I seen a lot of this kind of shit coming, an every time I looked over there is was worst. When it came back here I had hopes, but that was not to be. So take care my Friend, it's been fun to this point, but I'm done with this.
