Every 6.5x47L I have loaded for (8 rifles in this caliber) whether 1:8, 1:8.5 or 1:9 twist shot fantastic with 38.0gr Varget or 37.4gr RL-15 & 123 Scenars seated .010" out of the lands.
37.4 gr of RL15. That sounds like the Gradous magic formula Bob.

I realize a 16.5" BBL maybe a little slow, but what kind of speed did you get using RL-17 with that load? Distance from the muzzle?
Thanks,

I am new too reloading so I used the load data sent with the rifle that had 200 rounds through it. 39gr of h4350, 140gr hybrids, new lapua brass, COAL 2.815, and cci450 magnum primers. It ended up only producing speeds of 2660fps but shot well under 1\2 MOA groups. The only issue is it showed swollen primers after fired. There were zero other pressure signs. Any suggestions on the primers? Once again I'm brand new too loading and the 6.5x47 caliber.
I meant too say cratering sorry.
