There is a used Nightforce 7-35 with MIL-C in the PX section right now for $2600. That's a nice discount for a like new scope, but I don't know the seller so as always do your due diligence before buying.

Just an fyi mrad=mil scope. They are used interchangeably to refer to the same unit system. There are 10 mrads in a mil and people refer to them interchangeably. Some guys think they are different units so just clarifying.
Good job putting your big boy pants back on and coming back... Ffp is great because you never need to remember which power setting you need to be on for your reticle/ruler to be true. A mil inside a ffp scope is a mil regardless of power setting.
In a sfp scope a mil is only mil on the designated power it's set for so if your at half the power a mil is really only half a mil.
1 less thing to worry about if your shooting under pressure and grew up eating crayons like me

Mrad is short for Mil or Mil rad, which is short for milli radian, which is 1/1000 radian. A full circle circumscribes 2pi radians. Radians are a measure of angle, not linear measurement. Mils are divided into 1/10ths for adjustments on the scope.
1 radian = 360/(2pi) degrees = 57.296 degrees
1 mrad = 0.0573 degrees
1 "click" = 0.00573 degrees
MOA is short for minute of angle, which is 1/60th of a degree. There are 21600 MOA in a full circle. Typical adjustments on a MOA scope are 1/4 MOA
1 MOA = 1/60 degrees = 0.01667 degrees
1 "click" = 0.00417 degrees
This is, of course, unless your scope is not using true MOA, but shooter MOA, or inch per 100 yards.
The reason mrad is preferred HERE is that the math is easier and there are no assumptions about; is it a mil or shooter's mil or some other bastardization of the measurement system.

Recently new 6.5 RPR owner here (and new to the precision shooting world to boot). I bought a bunch of different ammo to try to see which the rifle shoots best for my purposes - paper and future PRS local stuff. Out of the 5 different varieties of cartridges, my RPR seems to shoot best with the Hornady ELD-Match 140gr. It has been the most consistent for groups, with a best so far of .56 MOA using it. That also seems to be a pretty common result. (Although my best group period has been with the Hornady 143gr. ELD-X hunting cartridge with a .46 MOA. The other groups were not as consistent using it). Your mileage may vary ......

Your skin is very, very thin. Makes for most enjoyable comedy gold.
What you need is a .270. Long action, so its got plenty of horsepower. Shoots flat, way flatter than this new junk.
If you want to get the best accuracy, just handload for it. I use those Lee dies, great set. Comes with the perfect size dipper for getting powder in the case. 4064, 4065, you know, whatever it takes.

Christensen Arms BA Tactical 6.5 CM and your ATACR, run hornady white box match ammo, be done with it. Sub MOA all day when you do your part. Had mine out to 1350 the other day. Completely capable. I have a Barrett .338LM as well. Fun to shoot, manageable recoil, expensive to shoot if you are using quality components. I shoot my CM way more often.

Don't worry. These guys are not newbie-friendly. If you are indeed my coworker, nothing these guys can say will phase you. Your D.I. was worse than anything these guys can dish out.

FFP. You want the Units to stay the same no matter the zoom level. SFP is mostly for hunters with low scale zooms, from what I've read.
I personally purchased the NF ATACR F1 7-35x56. Highly recommend it.
