Range Report 6.5x47 L 140 SMK RL15

over at Daddys Sunday and he gave me a bunch of partial boxes of 6.5mm bullets from his loading for a Sako 75V 9 twist 260,,very very accurate rifle with 130 Berger VLDs and 120 Nosler Balistic Tips,,

got 130 VLD Hunting and 140 SMK and 130 Accubonds,,

tested the 140 SMK for OAl and they fit the throat perfect,,2.680 with none of the fat part of the bullet below the neck/shoulder junction,,loaded 5 rounds with 35.5 36 and 36.5 RL15 and at 100 yards the 36.5 load was one hole in the very low .2`s,,shot 2 rounds ove chronie and were 2810 and 2798,,,from 100 dialed in 28.75 MOA and was level at 1,000 and put in 3 MOA for wind and started making good hits at 1,000,,may have to further test this and get on paper at 500 and 750,,

varget an rl15 are the only powders I have tried so far,,gonna make a powder run next w/e and see what I can find,,I have been shooting 223/308 with 69/175 gr bullets and 338L with 300 bullets the last 3-4 years and varget/rl15 and h1000 are the only powders i have,,
