Accuracy International Picture Thread

Finally got my hands on an AXMC from another user on here. Hoping the large firing pin won’t be an issue even though I’ll be shooting 6.5. Have to say the action and trigger feel amazing.

If you have issues with primers, or don't want to take a chance, LRI does great work bushing AI bolts with a fast turnaround. I have LRI bushed 308 and 300wm bolts for my AXMC, way cheaper than buying complete new factory SFP bolts (I sent the LFP 300wm bolt that came with my AXMC in for bushing before AI released the SFP AXMC bolts, and I picked up the 308 bolt body off the PX here already bushed by LRI for $250... bargain!)

Finally received the AX Mk3 I ordered almost a year and half ago. Very happy with the fit and finish. Took a photo of it with my old AT.

I used to play this PC game called Arma a bunch, and with the right mods enabled it has fairly realistic ballistics. To get accurate hits with all the realism mods enabled you have to use real world equipment like Kestrels and range finders in realistic ways ... e.g. you have to hold your Kestrel into the wind to get accurate readings and the wind shifts with terrain and ever changing weather. You can even catch trace in your optic under the right circumstances and you have breath control, wobble and all that to deal with as well. With a little bit of tinkering in the mission editor you can turn it into a fun little wind call trainer for a variety of reticles and with the right mods you can even run an AI AXMC in .308, .338LM or .300WM ... figured y'all might get a chuckle out of this.

That SB with msr2 reticle tho.... Some designer has class

Well, the AXMC turned into an AXSR. The Pantone SB turned into a Razor, and either the 300WM or the 338LM barrel got swapped for a 6.5CM. BUT, the 6.5 barrel even has an appropriate serial number and AI logo in the correct locations.

I'ma a loop choke from anywhere connoisseur... Definitely like a good paper cutter sliding from a half guard pass as well....purple belt for life.... I keep taking stripes off on purpose hehe

He trains so it evens out in my nerd assessment lol... But protect your neck and watch those heel hooks

Nice! Honestly purple belt is the most fun belt so I don't blame you. I spent 6 years at blue due to moving around for work quite a bit at the time so I was 8 years in already when I got my purple and it was one of those "someone please promote this asshole already" type things. They'll probably force a brown belt on you eventually stripes or no stripes ;)

I did this in multiplayer so I could do some range estimation/unknown distance sniping with the tremor 3 reticle in a king of the hill gamemode.

And here, in @CollarChoke I mistakenly thought we had an unbridled BDSM enthusiast popping out of the kinky closet and boldly strutting amongst our midst…

…although the name could be a double entendres? Wait I don’t wanna know lol
Wait, we're NOT talking about our rank in German Scheisse Dungeon Nipple Clamping?

@Huskydriver @CollarChoke

Heel hooks and ankle locks here. Not many people do em so it's easy to catch even higher level people if you know what you are doing. Giving people a false sense of security by letting them get me in guard and then ruining their day is so satisfying.
Luckily I started out in mma with a bunch of leglocking savages and was getting heelhooked since day 1, but definitely more of the Dean Lister/Bas Rutten/Roy Harris generation in that space than upside down front roll ashi washi entries :) It's been really interesting watching the popularity of leglocks spike again these past few years. Although I do think the day of the pressure passer is upon us once more now that folks are generally up to speed on the knee-line/inside-control game :)

This is why an AI is right for those of you who partake in the art of the struggle cuddle. The intimate knowledge of manipulating joints while in compromising positions makes it easy to run the (apparently) 1,000 pound bolt.

Grip, lift, pull, push, press.
Grip, lift, pull, push, press.
Grip, lift, pull, push, press.
Grip, lift, pull, push, press.

Again.

Grip, lift, pull, push, press.

The nighttime is the right time.

I've been out of the scene for a bit for medical reasons but back when I did it and where I competed they weren't "legal" in competition until my last year doing it. I think having that door open up in comps might be why it's more common.

Wellllll turns out the thumbhole set from Sporting services was Sage Green and not the Darker AI green. So if anyone wants to sell a grip set and front end set let me know.

I thought mine looked a little lighter... Just enough to be noticeable.

EDIT: I just took mine outside - I got it yesterday from SSUK, and it's AI green. It's definitely a shade lighter than my fore end at certain light angles, but it doesn't show up as different on a picture at all.
