This is exactly the barrel I have, same markings, also says 7.62. Do you happen to know who makes these barrels so I can get a matching 24" version?
I’ve got two. They’re both Walther barrels if I recall, my original was the factory barrel. The other I bought as an extra barrel with the intent of cutting down/threading the OG. Shouldn’t be hard to find on the marketplace if you’re patient!

I’m taking my NF off and putting it onto a mk12 for a more appropriate optic for mammoth. A mk5 is on the way to replace it . Hard to argue the mk5 especially with the discount for me . I’ll spray paint mine and put a NF QC sticker on it

Super easy install, pop off the old and pop in the new. I will say it is not a comfortable grip anymore if you plan to carry the rifle there.
Your other option would be the RRS BAX15(i think), which keeps the finger grooves but gives you arca and keyslot. I just think the sawtooth looks better.
It’s a nice piece of kit, I’m a big fan of sawtooth’s stuff. Cheapest option to get arca in that spot. Looks like he’s only got one left!
Yeah i like them. Had several atlas cals and while they were nice, they didnt deploy as fast. Probably better things than the harris that deploy fast but it works for me
You guys tell me what the hell I'm looking at, because the longer I look at the video screenshot, the more confused I get. As far as I can tell, it's an AT-X(C) MIL with MLOK. It has the full length ARCA bottom, along with MLOK in the mag well side, and appears to be a short action. But it has an AXSR Buttstock and grip angle. The more I stare at it the more it bugs the hell out of me.
My Issued AI had all the bells and whistles. ATACR, IMUNS, clip ins, lights, lasers, lightsabers… all top of the line shit and you guessed it… a HarrisI hate to say it, but my stuff shoots well on a Harris. My favorite is the Accu-Tac, but I dont think the Harris holds me back. My only gripe with the Harris is the spring loaded legs. More than once I've pulled the rifle to me in the field, had a foot catch a lump of grass, and dropped the muzzle on the ground.
Harris is kind of like the fat chick of bipods...you can get rounds off with one just fine, but don't let your friends catch you with it.
I would compare its presence in the above photo to something along the lines of a hot Italian model...but she's got a tampon string hanging out.
. I’ve never seen one fail on our team and we trained constantly(outside of deployments), ran the piss out of em and weren’t soft on em. We also didn’t have the latitude to put whatever accessory we wanted on our issued stuff. On the AI I prefer spigot mounted anything due to the height… but generally speaking a Harris won’t hold ya back. They’re good at a few things = cheap, durable, light, quick to deploy. They’re not the sexiest these days but they work. I’d not scoff at anyone with one.Here is your fail on a harris. I still use them and they replaced the part under warranty no questions.
In official config options it now lists MLOK as an option for the MIL/LE version of the AT-XC. I am assuming here, but T&E are underway for this version at Hat Creek. AINA did pass around 13 pre-production models of the AT-X a few years ago for T&E/Demos.

. Never say never I guess. I just didn’t see it in my time. They impressed me enough that I still use em mostly. Except for on my AI. I will say I plan on trying one of the cool competition oriented bipods now that I can pick/use my own stuff.I've had that exact same failure on a Harris, and I've had a CAL fail due to improper heat treatment on the notched plate causing the notch for the 90 degree position to round-over on one side, so that leg would fold back when the bipod was loaded (manufacturing defect). I'm not even running my stuff hard either - all just square range shooting. In both cases the manufacturers repaired/replaced without hesitation. I still run both types, prefer the CAL but Harris has it's place. My biggest gripe with the Harris is the rotating legs that roll away from you on a smooth, firm surface.That’s definitely a failure
What exactly happened? In the mounting plate separating from the legs? Yep the Harris isn’t great on roof tops that’s for sure and the legs would roll. We’d carry nylon webbing/carabiners to anchor to our packs and apply back pressure in situations like that (hard surfaces/slopes)To be fair we were shooting 20lb AI’s that didn’t move a lot period. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying theyre the end all… just pretty good, pretty light, pretty durable IME, and CHEAP compared to others. My experience is limited to my world.
Sounds like the same thing that happened to me, once upon a time. Rounded off the edge so the leg wouldn’t stay put. Easy repair and good CS, though.

Yes, my CAL was exactly like that, and my Harris failure was exactly like the one pictured up above. The CAL was due to some heat treatment out of spec from a supplier. Yours is likely the same.
