Accuracy International Picture Thread

If we keep letting this AI but not really AI nonsense infiltrate our minds eventually we’ll be seeing pics of AICS Savage 10’s

At that point it’s time to close the thread as all hope has truly vanished
AICS savage is truly the best of both worlds.

Get the classic AI look and ruggedness, exceptional accuracy, at a lower price. Just as good as the real thing.

Top it off with a Mark 5 Leupold in a Spuhr mount, and you'll have a top notch sniper system!

I actually had an AICS for my Savage 10 way back when MHSA was blowing them out. The chassis was still worth more than the rifle 🤣

Since this is a pic thread, here’s a pic of the AXSR 300nm (bottom first pic) at a club match in VA today. Hit a cold bore challenge and collected a bag of cash. 4”x8” steel gnome (greenish blob) at 1067 yards from one mountain top to another. $5 for 1 cold bore attempt per match. Based on the amount, there were about 90 attempts this summer and fall.

Two gratuitous fall blue ridge mountains scenery pics.

Buy some cheap asian ammo. It'll match your Vortex.
Can confirm as someone who feeds his AI almost exclusively 140gr AAC ammo.

Is that the same place or same match that has a lot of long range stuff. Called soldiers something or the other
Don’t think so. The targets are 400-1100 yards and -6 to -15 deg angle.
I’ve been told that moccasin place that hosts ELR matches is just “the other side of the mountain” but I’ve never been there.

Finally found the name. Major Land snipers cup.

But your match is cool and nice shooting regardless

But the gun is on the ground. It can get dirty like that. Half these kids here are still making payments on their Credova accounts. Showing pics like this might encourage them to lower their resale value! Shame.

(Awesome pics though man)

I sit in my paid off home, having driven there in my paid off car, and I put down my financial statements indicating I can pay for any college my children want in cash, so I can go do some DFAT dry fire with my AI AT and my Leupold MK5 5-25x56mm with Illuminated TMR reticle.

Work hard. Save a lot. Buy whatever you want.

Spoken like a guy who lives in DC metro.

Oh wait.

Never mind. 😂🤣

Ball ammo? Surely you jest sir.......

Ah yea... Let's take a look see here Cletus....
No suppressor check...
Butler Creek caps check....
Caldwell knock off of a Harris bipod... Check...
Miss matched fudd ammo check....
Bolts on the wrong side of the gun check....
Hole in single wide skirt in the foreground check....
No Arken....Fail
No $10k truck with $25k of lift and wheels in view....fail
Possibly could have gotten more multicam per sq in there ....half credit....

Overall score is dependant on proof of back child support in arrears but you got @BurtG POS awm beat by a solid can of colt 45 and a swisher

The fact your trigger is 187.43% more reliable than the axsr......

Solid consolation price

I find your intimate knowledge of subpar gear to be……. Disappointing

Anyone have a lead on cheek piece thumb screws? Seems everywhere is out of stock or marked discontinued.
Pretty sure they’re discontinued. I used this from McMaster Carr. They look “okay” and sit pretty flush against the skins.

Shit I wish. It’s an older Primary Arms 4-14x44 with R-Grid Reticle
Oh yeah! Shit!! I still own that cheap thing too! Only with just a mil dot! (Aka ARC-2 MOA Reticle)

I first wrote “4-14”, looked at it, and said wtf and changed it to 4-16. Mostly had forgotten that scope!

It was my first scope I ever bought. Put it on my only rifle, a CZ 527 in 204. Then found the Hide and went to mils and onto other hedonistic rifle debauchery soon afterwards.

Forgive me MIL Lord, for I have sinned!

It is until I rattle can it

I think ES is a great color, but sand is the wrong name for it
It’s more “elite concrete”

But the concrete that’s in that shaded portion which rarely dries out throughout the day and develops that greenish tint to it over time that you eventually power wash

I'm guessing the rifle is a tad heavy as pictured? What are the barrel specs?
Yeah it's definitely on the heavier side but absolutely manageable. 20" 308, irrc it's a Bartlein.

I carried it another 6-7 miles today up and down draws and ridges without getting worn out.

It's going back out tomorrow for the same deal.
