AIAX upgrades part 1... UK’s Shooting Shed (David & Christal). Great folks at this small shop... I’ll post additional photos on the reloading forum, but wanted to share my new “bag rider”. Used with F/TR, I was looking for better control than the original OEM part offered. Really pleased! ??

AIAX upgrades - part II... Replaced my suppressor with the new APA Gen 3 Fat Bastard. Looking for a little assistance in controlling muzzle rise on the 20” barrel... as I’m struggling to see impact / plate movement. Hope to report back this month ?

Just installed the AX conversion on the AT. LOP is a bit short, even maxed out. Please tell me they make spaces for the AX Buttstock ?

They certainly do... color coordinated for your stock... I believe the largest is 1/2 “... you’ll need longer screws to thread through... all factory / OEM spec’d. just use the black buttstock and spacer(s) from your original stock. That’s what I did.

Got the AX308 out for some Sunday morning steel shooting. The club put up some interesting smaller targets @400.
What a great club... and they serve coffee - looking for new members? ? 400 yards is ideal... looks like a nice range - what grain bullet were you pushing?

On the list myself... I do hope that the Cheytac barrel twists are a huge misprint. 1-12" is pretty damn useless...
I still need a permanent optic for the AT. Thinking of another DMRii with the illuminated G3 reticle this time (didn't warm up to the H59). I just switched over to the NF Uni-Mount from the Spuhr and like it so far.

I was shooting a .308 pushing a 178ELDM @2750 and an AX-6.5 Creedmoor 147 @2950....
Took the AT out today. Only shot it with the 6.5 creedmoor barrel. Sadly only has access to 100y today. But I was shooting some hand loads I had built for another gun I no longer have. And the AI really liked them. First 3 rounds to confirm zero then I shot a loaded shotgun round that was stuck in the cardboard. I couldn’t believe it when I found the head. Shot a few 5 round groups and did the dot drill. Every time I shoot this gun it makes me even happier that I purchased it.

Call up Mile High and ask, the pamphlet was at their booth. I think they said it would be $12.5k. Not offered in LH though, so I have an excuse not to pick one up LOL

Hey all, I picked up a used AE MK III, and liking it a lot. However, it has a fixed stock and I'd like to convert it to a folder if possible. I'm not very familiar with how AI rifles and parts work, but it looks pretty modular based off the website and the stock itself.
Where can I pick up a folder? It looks like I'll need just the hinge part and bolt it on to replace the fixed part, but I can't find what I'm looking for online. Are there any other parts I'd need to switch out?

Still not seeing anything, am I misunderstanding how this chassis works? I haven't taken it apart yet but to my eye it looks like I can just drop in a hinge where currently there's a fixed portion, right above the thumbhole.
All I'm seeing here is buying full side kits to replace what I already have, or pistol grip (I'd like to keep the thumbhole) kits.
