Accuracy International Picture Thread

So I just placed an order with MHSA for an AI AX. But I just realized the 308 barrel is a 20” plain muzzle. I checked on AI website and it shows the 308 AX comes with a 24” barrel with a muzzle brake. Did I order a super old model? Just want to make sure I am not mistaken…. Thanks in advance

Called MHSA this morning and the lady confirmed it is indeed a plain muzzle barrel. But she is going to check if it’s psoasible to swap a threaded barrel on before shipping. Fingers crossed.

Side question: does drinking Red Bull not mess up your heart beat rate? I don’t even drink coffee if I plan to go shooting that day cause my heart would beat like I just ran a 100M…
Who knows, I drink a 20oz Red Bull before every match. But I also drink them daily as that's the oilfield breakfast starter pack

How to tell if Bartlien proof or lothar walther?View attachment 7922401View attachment 7922402
When I bought a takeoff barrel from someone here I had the same question. I was told by Mile High that the Bartleins should be 5 groove and the Proofs are 4 groove. Not sure if that holds true across the board but that’s what they told me. Not sure about the LW barrels.

So I noticed that on MHSA, the Proof Research barrels are cheaper than Bartlin barrels. Are there any major differences? I am sure they all shoot great. But what drives the price difference?
