Finally got my wife to shoot a rifle for the 1st time in her life. Took her straight to the 511 yard target. She has been terrified of guns until now. Now shes got the bug and wants to shoot all my rifles.

- Yes they fit the AXMC. AI never released a magazine adapter for left handed AXMCs. This was what lefties have been waiting for to allow us to shoot short action cartridges through the long action
- Don't know anything about a conversion for .223 from AI.
- I have discussed 37XC with a couple of people. I am still considering doing so. It is a great cartridge

They do not offer a 223 conversion for The AXMC. Or at least not yet
It is damn nice, the 300NM is very manageable not much more recoil than my .308 and it hits with authority. Initial groups at 200 were around ..75 with factory Berger ammo.
I loaded up some 215 Bergers on top of H1000 and it

Recently purchased an AI and was able to take it out for the second time today. I have two questions.
1. (See first picture) What is this black grease/oily residue? It looks like it’s coming from the bolt? I wiped it a little bit so that’s why it looks smeared.
2. The bipod stud adaptor came loose. I tried to tighten it up with the supplied 4mm hex key in the buttstock but it seemed just barely oversized? It barely fit in the top portion, but didn’t seat all the way and I felt like I was stripping it. I tested the 4mm key on the other screws on the pic rail and qd rail adaptors and it went in securely. Is it a different size? Should I use loctite to prevent this from happening again? Any specific torque spec? After tightening as best I could I was able to shoot my first 5 round group with it. (Second pic)

Don't use loctite on the accessory screws. First I'd remove one of the other pic rails, and steal the screws from it and swap them on your bipod adapter. Chances are it's simply an out of spec screw. If that doesn't fix it give AINA a call (or wherever you bought it from).
Oh sh!t, that's the magic fairy dust in suspension. Try not to wipe too much of it away.
Mounted a new ZCO527 on Spuhr QDP-6002 and recently added the RRS plate. I’m feeling like my AXMC is finally “done” for the time being except for minor tweaks here and there.
You know you’re happy with your rifle when all these new AXSR photos aren’t making you flinch. Just need that 308 mag to come in

We got some great practice on Saturday. Managed to clean the rooftop at 600-950 yards on coyote targets. I’m getting my PRS skills stage down to 52 seconds.
Last match was 80 degrees in direct sunlight, with no clouds. No issues reading it, and I have a slight astigmatism, even after wearing corrective contacts.
Sighted this in today, New Everything... Used a standard loading from one of my other rifles..
