More accurate description would be I bought a press that was on backorder for 4-6 weeks, then decided I need a ARCA rail and asked if they could just throw it in the box with the press whenever it shipped to save me additional $16 shipping on a $45 rail. Seems like a pretty damn reasonable request.

We have a looked into warehousing to help us expand (physical limitation), however we are working on a system to help the overall picture.To answer here, our assembly and shipping (along with manufacturing, QC, all of it) happens in the same building. We control our processes. This inconvenience to OP is one that we have built controls around. Again, an inconvenience, and everything we do isn't perfect all the time in every situation, but we have invested a great deal to keep things under one roof whenever possible.
