Re: AICS skins
yes sir, the skins are all the same but with the AICS there are (4) modifications done to fit the AICS:
1. action screw holes are machined in for easy access and so you do not have to remove the skins to install the weapon platform into the AICS, allowing you have a 4.5" or longer 3/16 allen bit to properly tighten and torque the two action screws of course.
2. bolt release on the Remington is in the trigger group so there needs to be a relief machined to allow access and not to bind the operating area.
3. bolt handle guard section on the AICS is a squared alloy area just forward of the safety which requires a "squared" section machined out to allow installation.
4. safety lever relief has to be machined down to allow operation of the Remington safety lever due to location.
If you have a set of skins you can either have them modified for the AICS or order a set ready to go.
