I have an old AI AWM that has the canted integral night vision mount welded to to the chassis. The rifle is a G22 variant that the German military has used for years. At any rate, the mount was originally designed to be used specifically with with a Hensoldt NSV 80 clip on and the Hensoldt 3-12 SSG scope. At any rate, because of manufacturing differences between the KAC PVS 30 and the Hensoldt NSV 80 the mount does not line up with the day optic laterally. In other words when mounted the eyepiece on the PVS 30 favors the right side of the objective on the day scope. For those of you with experience with clip on night vision, how critical is it that the relationship between the day optic and clip on be centered up?
