Here are a taste of the goodies that will be available for donations at SHOT 2012. Last year most everything was gone by day 2. The main Hide is on the third floor, with satellite locations at Leupold, FN, USTS, and Armalite. See you all there. Mark

New 2012 ASO coin/medallion. Designed by Brian Sain, it has Uncle Sam with sleeves rolled up over a full color flag on the front, and the ASO logo on back.

I went to SHOT here in Houston back in the early '90's when I was home on leave with a buddy and former 8541 who was working for one of these outfits like a REI or something, and I had an absolute blast. I have not been since but I am making the trip this year. The advances in technology and systems used today have far eclipsed what I could have even imagined way back when, and I am really looking forward to seeing what is out there and what is on the horizon. If you have an opportunity to attend do not miss it. A booth you certainly do not want to miss is the American Snipers. This is an organization that I can personally attest to the tireless efforts of some hard chargers to insure our war fighters have what they need to do their job. Please support them in their efforts whether directly at the SHOT Show or on line. They literally made a difference in the effectiveness of some of the best warriors on the battlefield to save American lives and destroy the enemy.

Take care and looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting some new ones at SHOT this year.

We've donated a bunch of our Challenge Coin Panels to American Snipers this year. I had heard that they were thinking about putting together a few of the panels with a complete collection of all of the AS coins in one package.

This would be a good way to be able to get some hard to get past coins all at one time.

It's a great organization and you all should stop by one of the booths to see what they're doing for our soldiers and buy some of the products they offer if you're able to.

Tony, I saw your challenge coin display sheets, very nice.

Here is the AmericanSnipers.org 2012 SHOT Show Raffle Rifle. Its an Armalite AR10. It comes with a plastic hard case and Storm Tactical Data Book.

Day 1 of SHOT is done. All AmericanSnipers booths were busy, as expected.

There are also a few of the skull coins from last year left, and on the tables.

There is also a US Optics scope raffle at the USO booth, only $2 per ticket could land you a new USO scope! All proceeds benefit www.AmericanSnipers.org

Wounded combat vets were at the Freedom Hunters booth (next door), and I gave them data book and t-shirts.

Stopped by to see Rifles Only and TAB booth, saw Tony B from TAB doing a sling demo for a SHOT attendee.
