I live NEAR ASheville. I have nevre shot at Mossy knob but I usually can get in at Moldy Mound.

im working on a local apple farmer, hes got a good 400-450 yrd spot on his farm with a great back drop. hes worried about his chickens( i guess the noise hope he doesnt think i shot that bad...lol) i might get him talked into letting me shot there couple times a month. if anybody else knows of some good yardage thats not 3 hours away let me know and we will punch some paper.im dying to stretch the legs of my .300wm

I heard Asheville is kinda the San Fran of the south. 'Heard it was full of the sandal wearin', granola crunchin', tree huggin', whale savin', sprout eatin', Subaru drivin' kinda crowd.

Name it, we have skeet, trap,25-300yd rifle, one hell of a pistol range, IHMSA pistol, shit tons of steel and a brand hammer new Texas Star thanks to yours truly and funds from Apache308's brain child called 22TSC. 22TSC is the most fun you will ever have with a 22 trainer.....anywhere. To hell with shooting paper, we shoot STEEL!
September 22 will be the innaugural running of the TGAC(Two Gun Action Challenge) which will include shotgun and pistol on the Texas Star and various other steel targets including plates and poppers.
Like I said shoot me a PM and maybe we can meet up.
