I've had this rifle for over a year now, put about 2000 rnds through it. shot off of barricades and such with no chipping. I think that if this were a molded style stock (ie the rubber feel), i would have seen a lot more wear. I have been very satisfied with the dip.
I don't remember what the cost was, as it was part of a full build, but I think that Accurate Ordnance sent it to http://www.georgiahydrographics.com/contact.html for the dip

It's 90 bucks to get a stock dipped around here. After they dip it, the guy puts several coats of some kind of clear over it for protection. You have to damn near blast it to get it off.
