Any Railroad Workers Here? 3 days no trains in PHX yard

Curious what is happening?

Buddy of mine works for the Railroad in the PHX area. Guy unloads new cars and does inspections on outgoing trains, prob more but IDK. He sends me some pretty rad pictures of all the new cars that come via trains.

Well the last 3 days they haven’t gotten a single train

I haven't heard anything and not familiar with the territory, but there's hundreds of reasons that can happen, even a small derailment especially if hazmat is involved.
They probably rerouted the trains elsewhere, or changed the route of normal traffic and or destination.
I did hear there's some chip shortage for the automakers they might just not being shipped.
I've hauled jeeps out of Toledo and Hondas out of Marysville Ohio.
Been out of that game for awhile.

He is WAY WAY WAY busier than I thought. They have derailments quite often... like a shocking amount.
