Any reason Bushnell 1600 & 1300 Arc have been running the same price?

Hey Guys, I've been in the market for a range finder to use for bow hunting and shooting. So I had it narrowed down to the Bushnell Elite 1600 and the 1300 arc.

Just looking around recently after Christmas and I'm finding the Elite 1600's going for around $325 new on eBay and some other places. The 1300 arc has been around $300 as well.

So does anyone else know why the sudden price drop in the Elite 1600 model? New version coming out at Shot Show? Just want a heads up before I pull the trigger on anything.

Thanks

Well judging by the time of year that the drop happened I'd bet on a new model coming out at SHOT. For $325 that is a total steal. It's an awesome range finder, I have one but paid significantly more then that for it.

That's what I'm thinking. I mean I can still find them fir the full price. Just didn't know if the 1300 arc had something holding over the Elite 1600

Just picked up the 1600 off ebay about a week ago for $325 at the (buy it now) price. Very pleased with it. Only been able try it out to about 800 so far, but the setting are really easy to adjust and it ranges really fast. For the price I don't think there's a better option.

I too just picked up a 1600 arc for the price and must say I'm pretty impressed with it. I have ranged all the way out to 1830 with it and everything under that, I have noticed it gets a bit confused when things are close to each other. Bushnell just upgraded it to the 1mile version so I wonder if that's why the 1600's are so cheap right now?.
