Autotrickler V3 - CE Products?

The digital mini level is a nice touch to video! Might need to get one of those!

I just got the digital level so I haven't actually used it for anything yet. The theory is I will use it to set different angles on the autotrickler depending on the type of powder I'm using. Once I have the "correct" angle for a given powder I'll record it for future use. It'll make it that much easier and faster to set the "correct" angle when switching between powders.

I have used different angles on the autotrickler and it is part of the tuning process to get the proper amount of powder (it's in the V3 manual). So far for the powders I'm using it seems like a slight "upward" angle on the straw gives the most consistent results.

Edit: I forgot to give credit to Elfster for this. He shows setting up various angles for the autotrickler in one of his many V3 autotrickler videos. I just took it to the next logical step using a digital level.

Well...just finished sending my payment in!!!! #5838 got my notification in early this morning while I was getting my beauty sleep....now transaction complete. I think I'll go wait by the curb and cuss the UPS man for a week

If it arrives before Thursday....I have 50 rounds of 300PRC just waiting to try it out....and that can then go shoot the 1 mile GBA event at TVP on the 18th...and I can see if it helped my vertical dispersion.....or if I just suck as a shooter

So... #5838 is the latest number...if you are close....get ready!

A note on my email experience. First....the CE Products email went to my SPAM folder....so pulled it out of the SPAM folder. The Payment form is web based and when I submitted it declined my card...and I instantly got a text from my bank for fraud protection. I had to verify that the payment was legit and try the payment option again....and it worked.

So..for those with tight SPAM policies....and those with tight fraud protection from their banks....maybe keep this in mind if things go wonky on you.

I currently have a v2 w/ the v3 electronics upgrade with bluetooth.

Is the V3 Autothrower that much of an upgrade? Should I upgrade my autothrower from V2 to V3 Autothrower?

Its about $240 from autotricker to get the v3 upgrade. $360 from Area419 to trick it out.

Unless you're throwing fine powders, not really. That being said, the V3 thrower runs much smoother than the V2.

The Area 419 clear top works great.

Pretty sure they are just as backlogged. I ordered my V3 kit from DWS on June 5th. I was told mid July.

The OEM V3 "straw" (AutoThrow funnel) will work with the Area 419 lid.

You beat me....Mine won't be in until Thursday...I had to back the truck up a few days to be delivered when I'm home....just didn't want to leave that out for the porch bandits to get while I was away making the donuts. 12-14 hour work days don't leave much time to be home for deliveries.

The good news is...I'll receive my two huge boxes of Inline Fabrication plates I ordered a few weeks back....takes time to drill custom plates and send them off for powder coating.
