So in a few months i'll finally be able to order my U.S. Optics B-25 or B-17. Now its going to go in a .308 (i know kill me know for still shooting it) but it'll soon be a 6.5 Creedmor so that why i'm debating on the magnification range. second is the reticles I've narrowed it down the the MGR, PR2 and the Tremor 3. Happy shooting!

How's it compare to a Gen 2 Razor? The USO B series to the Vortex seems close in price and features, curious to know what if any differences are.

I don't know how it compares to the Vortex Gen II, but I can tell you optically it is better than the AMG. The turrets are nice with positive clicks. I'm not sure where you are seeing comparable prices because the USO is about $550 more. If they were the same price I would definitely choose the B25.

The 1.8-10, the one that really interest me, is $1600. I fear that it may tunnel though. Nice to hear it may compare to even an AMG! I appreciate the feedback.

What do you like about it better than the AMG optically?

Better to have it and not need it, than to not have it and say oh shit.....

Personally, to me the class looks brighter with less fuzziness around the edges. Also, the eye box seems more forgiving. I would go as far to say that the glass is right on par with the schmidt. But like I've said in many previous posts, everybody views glass differently and views it differently.

Can't wait to get my hands on the B10, the 1.8-10x model? That's pretty damn sweet. Plan on using it on a 20" 6.5Grendel AR. I'd like to get another to use on an M110. I have the older LR17 and ER25 I got on here for excellent deals, both with all the perks, both with GAP reticles; the ER25 is for a DTA HTI .50BMG and the LR17 currently sits on the M110 but I feel it's not only over-scoped, it's just too big for that rifle. The B17 may be okay, but the B10 will still be smaller and more appropriate, for me anyway. I thought I'd like to use it on a .338LM I plan on buying or building to shoot out to a mile or so, but now I'd rather use a larger tube, possibly a SB instead in 5-25x. I don't know yet. Depends on the .338 I guess, would be nice to not have to buy another scope but don't want to regret it and wind up doing so anyway.

Right now, my LR17 is kinda the red headed stepchild. It's damn nice, I just don't personally have much use for it to be honest and I have a lot of rifles. It's mostly the size and weight, it throws the rifles I have off. Would work better on a longer or heavier rifle I feel. Thought about calling USO to see if it would work on the M2HB okay... I figure if it will, I may dedicate it to it's tri-mount. On the HTI, the ER25 just shines. Big as shit, but boy is it nice.

The smaller erectors on the new B series will be nice and will shave an inch or so off the length making mounting much easier, but IIRC they weigh about the same and are similar to the older lineup with respect to size and weight even with the new erector. I don't care, the B10 more than makes up for it since it's the one I'll be using most and it offers pretty much everything I need at a decent price and in a package that isn't too big or too heavy.

They all have great glass and let in lots of light. GAP reticle is crisp and clear (that's the only one I have currently). Built like tanks.

The b10 definitely looks interesting but the FOV seems to be on the smaller side for 1.8x zoom. I wonder if it tunnels.

That's my fear as well. It's not a deal breaker, but it doesn't look like a 1.8 bottom end magnification. It looks fantastic though. I really want it for an SPR build, so big FOV at the low setting is desireable

Have a B17 and AMG. Took an opportunity to compare both side by side last range trip and I personally felt that AMG had better definition on my targets further out than the B17 at equal magnification. The B17 is easier to get behind and isn't crap by any means optically but I still think the AMG was better.

I haven't shot the B17 enough to have a full blown impression of it overall at this point but I'm really digging how easy adjusting zero is on this puppy.
