Im wanting to get a Badger Tactical Bolt Know installed on my Remington 700. Who should I send my bolt to for a quality job?
I figured you guys could recommend some pretty good gunsmiths. I was just looking at Accuracy Systems website and they want a 139.00 bucks! ouch!

Thanks for the help,
Ryan

+1 for AZ Precision. Keith did a tactical marksman knob on my bolt and it's great. Military discount off the already low price of $75. Check him out. He's a good guy.

This includes any of my bolt knobs or a Badger knob, Cerakote in any color, and return shipping!
Discounts offered for 3 or more installs.
Military and Veteran discount of 15% </div></div>
Why is AZ Precision so much cheaper than G.A. Precision?

Re: Badger Ordinance Bolt Knob - Who to install?

Not Knocking anyone, as I'm sure Keith at AZ precision does a great job, but I have not dealt with him before. I have had George do a couple of knobs and they always do a good job and fast turnaround.

I have done a couple hundred or so.

I will thread the barrel for a brake and bed the rifle while it is in the shop as well.

ANYONE but R&D Precision. Their work was first rate, bolt was back to me in 3 days after I sent it and the machining work was flawless. I would not recommend them even to my mother-in-law.

We now charge the same. GAP does a great job at Badger installs and I think they even ship in a day.

You cant go wrong with any of the knob installers on here(the Hide)

I'm fixing a bolt right now that someone had a local smith do. Get reviews or at least gossip on a smiths work before you trust him. Just because you live in the same area does not mean he's good. Dont worry about mailing out work.
