Ballistic AE HUD screen and trajectory screen dont match

has anyone else notice this on ballistic ae? When i click favourites under the trajectory tab it shows 9.6mils of drop at 1000meters, when you load the same bullet from favourites onto the HUD screen with all the same environmentals etc nothing changing and you go to 1000meters on the HUD screen it shows 9.9mils of drop. The wind data matches with the trajectory and HUD screen but not the drop. It is wrong the entire way though no matter what distance you chose
 
pitdog, you must have some differences in your setups to make those screens come out different. My long range elevation dope is identical in my HUD and Trajectory screens for 1000 meters when I load the same configuration from Favorites. However, in order to match the HUD output for windage, the Spindrift toggle must be set to "On" in the Trajectory screen prior to calculating the table. The HUD screen does not have a way to turn Spindrift Om/Off and apparently defaults this value to "On" when calculating its windage correction,

The elevation and windage numbers on the trajectory screen can be made to differ from the HUD if you enable and provide data to compute the Coriolis Acceleration on the Trajectory screen and have it disabled on the HUD. However, the HUD does have the means to turn "On/Off" the Coriolis Acceleration, and once enabled on the Trajectory and HUD screens to the same values, the outputs once again match exactly for me.

One last thing to note, when you fill in values on either of these subscreens (Spindrift or Coriolis) make sure to return to the previous screen using the returning (< Xxxx) control on the upper left of the input screen. If you don't do this, the values you just provided will not be taken back to the program to be used in the new calculations... you will be confused and wondering why. Be aware!!

thanks mate for the tips no doubt that will save me some heartache in the future. I though it must be something iam doing. Iam not very tech savy i will do the reset and start over see how i go.

Good luck getting tech support from those a$$holes. Email them with a question and they don't respond. Email them multiple times and they still don't respond. Then post on their FB page and they block you. After investing $80 in the iPad version and iphone version with the pathetic Kestrel link it is quite a disappointment. I use Kestrel 5700 AB and JBM now.
