Jon has done it again. I picked up the new tool yesterday.
Specs:
Trued/blue printed R700 with old school Remmy trigger @ 1.5#
Kreiger 1/10 5R@ 26" plus brake with 1x Spiral fluting by Kampfeld Customs (Karl is "The Man" when it comes to spirals)
McM A5 with CDI BM
33moa NF rail
Vortex PST FFP 6-24X50 mil/mil
Seekins Rings

Time to head to the reloading bench.

I just got my Beanland rifle. Jon is a great guy and does wonderful work, as shown by your rifle.

Love it! My fav caliber. I really like the spiral fluting. I had a 243 AI jon built with it for a while - Great Great stuff!

I try. I have a Stiller Tac30AW that is the next project for Jon. Just waiting on the 6.5 kreiger bbl to come in and the piggy bank to fill up.

Congrats on a fine build - and agreed Jon is a heck of a smith and nice guy to boot!! He has my parts now for my 2nd 7mm08 build - I'll have twin rifles from him

sounds like you are mid-stream in the rifle A.D.D. waters.

That rifle is hideous to look at. I'll let you keep it at my house.

Kampfeld certainly does gorgeous work.
I wish he did the snake flutes. Ive got some pretty cool ideas.......

nice rig...I really like the colors of the barreled action...trying to figure something out for mine..whats the color you have on there if ya dont mind me asking..also karl did the brake as well?

I haven't seen it in person yet, but I'd bet it is flat dark earth. I also bet that that is a Kampfeld brake that was blended by Beanland.

JCH hit it on the nose. Metal is Flat Dark Earth and Jon indeed blended in one of Karl's 3 port side brakes. And he will see it tomorrow, if he can get a hall pass.
