Bill Donovan Armorer?

Maybe someone here can help me out. I came across a posting on M14.com, quoting a book by a "Wild Bill Donovan" who was an armorer in Viet Nam.
I can't seem to find any reference to this book, all searches bring up the Wild Bill Donovan of OSS fame.

Have any of you heard of or read this book? Can't seem to find the title even!

Mr. Donovan was mentioned and photographed along with some m40 references in the Chandler books IIRC.

William Donovan (not the Col. W.J. Donovan of OSS fame) was an armorer for Land's sniper platoon in Vietnam. He was, arguably, Hathcock's armorer.

I don't have much more than that. But Sgt. Donovan was an armorer of note. I don't know if he was known as "Wild Bill". I didn't know there was more than one. But stranger things have happened...
