BREAKING: Militia Convoys heading to Baghdad as tensions on ground rise

I'm a little late to this thread.

From what I've gathered so far:

Clcustom is hanging out at the embassy, giving people directions via landmarks just like people in Jacksonville do with strip clubs as a reference and is also waiting to cash in on that sweet sweet black market cash.

Thesis is in an adidas track suit driving around town with some milita people who may or may not have stolen his gold chain? He's also secretly trying to figure out how to get a wheel off a tank, also, for that sweet black market cash.

Money's money like a mouth is a mouth 👄🤪🤣

Sure seems like every citizen of every country is a prisoner of their government. A small group of people are guilty of the worlds evil. These people have the wealth and control the world’s militaries and police (paycheck) to control the world’s population that hates their guts. Sick stuff if you think about it.
Kinda reminds me of a place I know at this exact moment......Mac🤔

Are they still sending VBIEDs to the 14th of July bridge? Seeing that area brought back those 05 memories.

Have fucking fun!!!!!!!
It's nothing like '05 days. I was out in Al Anbar during those days.

The biggest shock to me when I first got on ground last year was all the new construction. 10-15 story apartment buildings, newer vehicles, and the nightlife is actually pretty lit AF in the main areas of town.

Standard stuff you'd expect in a post-war country. Weapons, drugs, alcohol, food, children for marriage/slavery and "priests" to perform the ceremonies to make it "official", prostitutes, etc.

What did you think?

We shut down a local DVD shop for selling child porn. As many times as we tried to explain he could not understand why it was bad. He literally offered to buy us off with child porn.

We (the United States of America) need to stop being the world police or enforcer. Let the inhabitants have at it. If the bully wins, we put him in a chokehold then we carpet bomb ever known area where the leaders may be.

People have been saying this forever.

Trump finally started to enact it.

Eisenhower in his grave said "I told you so......"

Liz Cheney had an orgasm.

I'm not at that level of caring. The Intel I have access to is pretty minimal at my level, plus no matter who dies, who takes the seat of power in any particular militia, political movement, etc here absolutely nothing changes and the Iraqi people are the ones who get the shit end of the stick.

That's just my view on things from the peasant level.
There are some good people there that I got to know. There are also some shitheads. For the level of sacrifice that was made there, I always hoped it would succeed. So, I still care but that is me.

I want them to succeed as well. But, they won't. Much like Mexico won't, or any other country that's completely corrupt and their government won't get out of their own way because they believe they know how to run the lives if their people better than the people do.

Thats not my cross to bear, so that weight is off my shoulders.

Now where does that sound like, somewhere closer to home? Just can’t quite put my finger on it! Some place that people said it would never happen, yet it’s happening? Crap! I wonder where it was?

100% correct. The Islamic revolution set this whole area back about 50 years (from 1970). So, now in 2020's they are back to the 1970's.

Beirut, Teheran, Damascus, even Kabul, all cosmopolitan and accepting of others up until these places decided to throw a hissy fit and allow those that look on the 7th century as an ideal to run the show.....such a waste.

Is there any chance of fixing the problems in the area without a complete war or revolution?
History says, "No." When you take a cursory dive into the last 500 years of world history, there have never really been any true strides in enhancing freedom from theocracy, or other government control without a revolution or civil war of sorts. In general, most revolutions are against one form of overbearing government just to replace them with another overbearing (to a lesser or more degree) government. As recently as the Romanian Revolution this pattern has kept the same.

Sode note: Iraq has had a socialist government since the 60's, so I can personally see how well that works on the ground here 🙄🙄

The US is really the only country that had a successful revolutionary movement for overall LESS government that I can think of off the top of my head.

And unfortunately we are losing the Republic.
