Hey fellas. Got a quick ? Today I shot a few threw my 6.5 Creedmor and at 100 it was on but at 130 it was 1.2 inches high. I've seen it in ar-15's but none of my ballistic apps show a vertical movement other than the dirt past my zero. Load is 140 vld. 42.4 h4350. 2.140 to ogive. Coal is below Sami specs. It shoots lights out but I don't fully understand the rise. Drag resistance ?? Or maybe just getting into its "own " in flight. All opinions are needed. Just want to learn the aerodynamics a little bit better.

Is your muzzle level with the ground, or is it pointing up slightly, at your range?

Chris

If anything it would be downward because I was shooting off a bench through my chronograph and the best angle was a downward shot to clear the chrony as best as I could. I was about 3.5 feet shooting at a target 1 foot above ground

Did you have a second target set up behind the fist target, at 130yds?

Are you just guesstimating that you were 1.2" high?

Holy shit. I'm such a dumb ass. I just realized that I accidentally grabbed the 130 Bergers from my gear bag after I left the bench for a moment to help my dad. They are in a labeled ammo box I just didn't look. Sorry for wasting you guys time. My bad.
