Let me preface this by saying I have a few Bushnell products that I really love. I have an HDMR and a LRHS that have been great.....
I ordered one of the new match pros for a rimfire I have sitting around. Ordered on the 23rd of September. they charged me on the 24th. 26th they printed a shipping label. Haven't heard dick since. Ups tracking has never updated. Says it will ship when they receive it. I sent an email to Bushnell a week ago asking what my status is? I got no response. I just tried to call them and spent 45 minutes on hold before I gave up. At this point I want my money back and will buy something else. How the fuck do I actually get in touch with someone?

I had two Bushnell trail cameras. They were junk; only one season of use killed them. My hunting buddy had one of the Bushnell wireless trail cams that connected to his phone. Again, notice past tense. After one season it croaked. His was much more expensive than mine so he called Bushnell about warranty. Bushnell said they would send him a $50 certificate toward the purchase of his next Bushnell POS. He told them to shove it.
No more Bushnell for either of us.

Send me a PM with your order number and contact info. I know a few people at Bushnell, and I will have them look into it.

Interestingly I had a similar experience with Optics Planet. I paid for a scope on September 30 and received tracking right away. I started calling because the tracking was not showing any movement. Only accepted. I filed for a lost package thru their company on October 9 and it mysteriously started showing movement on October 10. Almost 2 weeks after I payed and confirmed they had in stock. I still havent received it.

I have 6 Bushnell cameras. 2 of them are 4 years old ( they sit outside all winter), 2 are from last year and 2 new this year. I like these cameras way better than the Moultries I had. I will never buy anything Moultrie again, junk.

I 3 other Bushnell higher end items and I only have one complaint out of all them. Overall, I dont mind them; but i'd be pissed in your shoes too.

And I didn't even mention the three Bushnell red dots and a range finder that took a dump! Then there is the "old school" Bushnell pistol scope that the reticle fell out of but that was way back in the day.

They sell enough shit i'm sure we all have good and bad with them............Butttt, as long as we're giving personal experiences I lost a rifle with bushnell 4200 3-9x40 out the window of a truck. A tree just reached out and grabbed it going 20 mph. Picked up the rifle and killed an elk an hour later with it... Cant really complain there. I mean there is a gouge of metal on the objective end... But it still kills.

Is Bushnell known as a top end brand....Nope... Blue collar brand, sure. I've seen some of their lower end binos that I couldnt see a bird at 100 yards... So theres that... But, of what I actually own/abuse... I'm not Jaded, YET.

A friend sent his Bushnell 4200 series 6-24x44 back for repair. They couldn't fix it so they sent him a DMR 3.5-21. He was mad because it didn't focus at 10y. Didn't realize how expensive that scope was in comparison! Sold it for $1100. HA he made $500 profit. Wasn't too mad anymore, lol.

Bushnell wouldn’t warranty a brand new in the box rangefinder that was broken because “they no longer supported that model.” I’d bought it 6 or 7 months earlier and it wouldn’t range beyond 20-something yards. I even sent a copy of the receipt in. I bought it to replace my 10 or 12 years old Bushnell LRF that finally crapped out.

They did offer to sell me another one at full retail. Fuck them.

I mailed their LRF back to them with a note telling them to keep it and I’d never own another Bushnell product again.

Bushnell did right by me on a recently replaced Weaver Super Slam. Getting the Super Slam repaired would be have been nice, but they were more than fair on the replacement, too bad they shitcanned all the Weaver repair parts, still have a 3-10 on the M1A and a V24 on a CZ 452.
what did they replace it with?

Damn.. some shit must have changed up at bushnell. Years ago, they rolled out the red carpet for me for a busted ass scope someone gave me that was discontinued.

It all worked out. My scope came in today. They rushed me one after I finally got in touch with someone thanks to Doug at Cameraland. The part that pissed me off was being unable to contact anyone in the first place.

Had a surprise waiting on my porch when I got home from work today. Bushnell sent me a free sunshade and scope caps along with some stickers and a hat. I appreciate that they went out of their way to make things right.

I wish I found this thread before I ordered a Match Pro. It got on my radar few months ago, and by the way whoever marketed it as an NRL22 match tool has made Bushnell a lot of money. It is a great marketing tool and it makes my cz457 package quite powerful while still eligible for the base class. I saw that it was only available for pre-order, so I didn't bother. Then in early June I saw the "pre-order" sign gone and "shipping in 3-5 days" showed up. Score! So I ordered it. Credit card promptly charged. A week goes by and nothing happens, online order status "OPEN". After another week I see "Pre-order" and "Shipping in July". I contacted their CS and as of right now I have not heard anything back. In the meantime and I have a change on my CC and no scope that I could be training with. Worse I have no idea when I'll be getting it. Sounds like a bait and switch. This was my first experience with Bushnell and will likely be last. It also tells me how I'll be treated if I'll ever need to use their warranty.

The only bright spot in this story is that during my online searches I found this forum, which is a great place to learn. CameraLandNY seems like an awesome place for scopes I'll be going to for my future purchases.

I contacted @gr8fuldoug at Cameraland and he managed to contact someone at Bushnell that got me squared away asap.

I would guess Doug is the reason you were taken care of so fast and that Bushnell put in the extra effort. He really goes above and beyond to take care of members here.
Absolutely! I hadn't even bought the scope from him. I had ordered directly from Bushnell. He saw this thread and reached out to me. Great guy.

Last I heard from the folks I know at Bushnell, you'll be seeing movement on that MatchPro order shortly. I've been keeping careful watch on it through them because I have suggested them to a LOT of people. Unfortunately, there were delays in getting the scopes in hand that were out of their control.

    Hopefully.

It really is too bad. Now that everything is reopening I have less time to spend at the range. I kind of miss the early days of coronavirus scare - it was so quiet :)

One of my 3 Bushy Nitro 3-12’s would not focus and had a windage knob on the elevation turret. Called Doug who I bought all 3 from and he had me a paid packing slip in 20 mins. Boxed it up and sent it. Bushy called today and said they can’t fix it, and don’t have the same for replacement, so they upgraded me to a Forge 4.5-27 mil mil at ZERO COST even offering to pay the difference or shipping. Bushy refused. Guess we will see if I like it. But CS from Doug and Bushy are outstanding in my book. Recommend both highly!!!

Doug, you and your crew are top shelf.
I'm in Ohio, my orders are generally arrive the next day, pre COVID.

Thanks for being on top of your game, involvement AFTER the sale will generally dictate whether I'm a repeat customer.

For what it's worth I've also had less than stellar experience with Bushnell products. I purchased a Elite Tactical 1-8.5 and Bushnell Nitro both from Doug at Cameraland. The Elite Tac has a random spec that actually illuminates at the higher illumination setting, I decided to keep it and not say anything though. The Nitro has a spec as well but I decided to RMA that. Doug hooked me up with someone at Bushnell who provided a shipping label asap so their customer service seems pretty good so far. Unfortunately their products seem to have pretty spotty QC and poor manufacturing.

I sent a Millette LRS 1 in for repair about a month ago, they sent my 10 dollar ship charge back, but have not awnsered my e mails at all, I too waited on the phone for 35 minits, finally got a sales rep, they said they would contact me shortly about a replscement. well that was two weeks ago. I was shooting some new 300 gr loads Bergers, when the power zoom ring locked up, then the next shot had spots all through the inside lense. I was pissed to say the least, but Never again will I deal with Bushnell.
