Hello everyone,

I am new to the long range shooting thing. I have a new left handed Rem. 700 sps in .243 and i would like to replace the stock with a chassis. I don't know who all makes chassis in left hand so if you could share some of you knowledge with me it would be great.

Please feel free to give me your opinions about the different stocks as well.

thanks

The T5 w/ mini chassis improved the accuracy from 3/4"-1" down to around 1/2" (depending on me) at 100 with my factory barreled action. 100 feels too easy after the switch, its nice to know exactly where the bullet is going when you break a clean shot. Mine is the 90% carbon fiber fill so know that is an option also.

I really like the Badger bottom metal/chassis in the Manners. Detachable mags are great. It accepts 5 and 10 round AI mags and Alpha mags, both of which come up for sale here a lot for around $50-$65. If you can't find the mags here then order early through AlphaIndustries. Stocky's stocks usually has some Manners on hand if that's what you choose but you may have to go through Manners for a LH w/ mini chassis. Thomas Manners is a member here and their CS is great.

Scott McRee is a solid guy and he makes an outstanding stock.
