Back last year I bought a set of shooting Bag/Rests "sandbags" the first set are a Mid green colour and I have been really happy with them, So last week I was nosing around in my ebay purchase history and I clicked on them and see that they also have camo versions of them, having a weak moment I clicked again and this morning they arrived that was fast from half way around the world, these are really top quality item and the top of the main Bag is quite thick almost like Leather/Suede material so no damage to the stock when in use, these are impressive and they cost about 10/11 bucks for the front and rear bag set with about 4 bucks postage, Delivered. For that kind of change, it's worth giving them a try. Thanks John.

Here ya go Mike heres their link,

I ordered them on the night of the 12th and they were here this morning the 17th.

I have to edit my post because it is not Leather but it feels like suede but it is actually some kind of water proof membrane that feels like Leather and the bag has a water proof membrane inside to keep the sand Dry with Velcro closure, and it all folds flat under a strap on the base, but they really are a clever design, I would of been happy to pay 30 bucks a set for them,

John.

Mike did your bags turn up yet ?

John.
Hey John,
Probably will have them early next week. I made a few bags from 25 lb. shot bags, filled two with rice and filled two with sand. They're working great for rear bags. I went out this morning, took a couple of ARs, confirmed my zeros. Used a game changer for the front bag and the sand filled shot bags for the rear. Shot the AR in the picture out to 300 yards, for an old prick I didn't do too bad! Was shooting 62 gr. Fusion factory ammo. That's only a 1 to 4x Burris Mtac and I managed to keep all five shots in about a 4" group. I know, for you fellas that sucks, but for me I was pleased. I think by shooting the 556s, it's only going to make me more proficient with my 6.5 Creedmoor and some decent glass. I'm working on my breathing and follow through. Probably much more information than you need, but I was pretty happy with my shooting this morning, the 100 yard groups where pretty tight.

Just go the same set in. Seems very well built. Now,what to fill it with?
Tough little devils ain't they lol.

I like how the filler vent velcros flat and folds underneath, that's a nice touch. and for the price you can't go wrong.

I think some of that fine fish tank gravel might do the job ?.

Yes they are im blown away as to why they are not a little more pricey. Right now i have plastic "doll stuffing" pellets which arent working to bad and they are like jagged spheres that catch and lock on each other. I ran out before i could start filling the large bag. These are alot nicer than my gi green sock filled with sand hahaha.

Yeah I agree, That's why I posted them here, When I first saw them I thought they are 30 to 50 bucks easy, I like everything about them, there is not one thing that is below standard or I would change about them, perfect size to go in the range bag and the build quality is awesome. (y)

Trigger warning.....
You might want to use steel shot bags. Lead contamination/poisoning is a real thing.

Why would lead contamination be a problem if they are filled with gravel ?

Yeah I had a Mate who was a Plumber who died from lead poisoning, I didn't even know he was ill, and the next thing I knew he was gone.
