OK, i have to vent. [begin_rant] I am selling a set of OEM wheels and tires from my 2011 Range Rover Sport. They were taken off when the vehicle was brand new so they are essentially new in perfect condition. To buy the wheels from Land Rover you are looking at around $3200. The tires are $450 per tire (very good Michellin 4x4 tires). So, essentially $5000 to buy new. I have them on eBay for $1600 for the wheels and tires. I am getting tons of emails asking if i would sell for $1200 to $1300. I tell everyone that I would be willing to split the difference at $1400. I now have three guys haggling over $100. Mind you, these are $5000 wheels and tires for a $80,000 vehicle. Really? Understood, they are probably saying the same thing: "this guy is worried about a $100?" but to me, its the principle.
